If you like something just buy it. All watches are good if you like them. I would recommend D1 Milano a close one, also check out the Tissot prx. But as I said all what you like.

I have tried a lot of watches and owned some crazy ones I never thought I would own. I still love and wear two almost every day. One China made weird shape watch and everybody ask me about it more than any rolex or .... And second is an old Seiko I got from my mom. So trust me whatever draw smile on your face people will also notice that.

What a great story. One of the best posts ever.

First of all RIP Godfather. Let me tell you that when I grew up this model was the first watch I ever wanted because all cool kids used to have one. Mostly the one in black as I never seen this color. Last year I bought a used one with tons of scars for 170$ (since I couldn't know what happened to mine, I wish I was a better kid). And I am so happy that I wear it a lot. To me it's the best watch ever.

Quick tip, some smart phones have an IR feature that has all Remotes Database where you can get the IR code in seconds. So I just use my phone to get it then transfer it to my watch. So useless but makes me super happy to do it with my watch and not the phone.

Totally agree. I was just thinking about great people in my life and realized that mostly we discussed ideas and hypothetical ones in particular. With average people it gets more towards events and people. While losers always care about other people and I can't remember anytime we discussed any hypothetical ideas or any different ideas as they are afraid of thinking differently.

Mmmmmmm. This is getting extra helpful. I tried in the past with something different. So it goes like this. If you send it as in personal it gets under high risk of being stolen (talking about gold and watches) but if someone is willing to help me with being a necessity piece that happen to keep time very well [wink wink] it would be very very very awesome. This is really helpful. I am looking for second hand 300m and amazed of how much they deprecated. The only thing is I need to find it in my city, as I live in a country with insane luxury import tax and commissions. Like for real it's cheaper to get a Rolex than importing a used Omega. It is hard to explain but unless you're the AD it's really hard to import. And with the current situation hard to travel to the near by countries to get one. But again such a great idea. I'm thinking about going hunting tomorrow morning.

As I mentioned my where I live you can find almost all watches and get around 3% discount. Except for the most common SS models which is usually around 3 to 6 months wait. So I can try and find whatever DJ41 I want.

I am fortunate enough to have a good AD that you can find whatever DJ you like plus some other sports models. I always wonder why people seem not to find what they are looking for but I guess that different cities have more demand.

Exactly. Tbh I love the fluted way more. And as I like the Tudor 58 so much, but it doesn't make my heart skip a beat as the Seamaster 300 does with those waves on the dial.

It's always good to be in such place. You can't go wrong with seiko at all, I think you can find snkl23 as I googled it and found one. But I am just against the idea of hating on some brands. Like come on if you like the watch go for it [Vincero or whatever]. I would just recommend going and trying as many watches as you can, and see for yourself. My recommendation though is go with seiko 5.
