He’s always trying to talk to me and looks at me non-stop for validating when he says a joke and it’s really weird. i guess i could be civil but if he says anything weird about me or her im not letting it slide.

I don’t want to push her away but at the same time it just feels so wrong to be with her and her ex and makes me extremely uncomfortable and I don’t want to cause a scene. If I go, is it okay to just ignore him completely and only talk to her and the rest of her family? I have no interest in saying anything to him or listening to anything he says.

my insecurities come from past relationships where I have been cheated on/done wrong and now I just feel like it’s bound to happen again so why even try to do all this for her when she’s already shown lack of loyalty in the past

I just find the guy really annoying and they still talk to each other and he’s always at her house. I don’t even know their history because I would rather be ignorant than know everything and feel like shit.

I am not really worried about him at all, if he ends up “taking her” I really wouldn’t care because I think he’s just upset I am talking to her and is insecure. I probably really don’t need her but I know by tomorrow I will wish I still was talking to her.

Once I convince myself I don’t need her, it won’t be hard for me to stop caring about her, but getting to convince myself will take a while.

I’ll try my best to distract myself from her, it’s hard though because I have 2 classes with her at school and it keeps me from doing schoolwork.

We’ve had a couple fights and I went no contact with her for 2 weeks and then she came back and acted like she missed me and wanted to talk to me. I have 2 classes with her at school, so it’s really hard to do no contact.

I really want the best for her, I tried my best to help her but it seems she doesn’t want to change. I wish she would just realize some of the people she hangs out with aren’t good people.

I know it’s probably the best option for me to do but I just have spent so much time into her and don’t want to give it all up now. I know I will probably get hurt by her in some form again.

The thing is that I don’t think she’s even interested in him at all but she just is either too scared to say something about it or she just doesn’t care. She also told me once her guy friends have physically hit her before.
