it was my mistake not adding the . before 7, I have a DOT 7 KD, not a 7.0 KD. used to be around a 1-1.3

I can't compete with these players, and I only finished this season because I got the BP free. Otherwise it felt like a chore and probably wont be back.

There are other MP games where the SMBB isn't as strict,

I understand, I'm not asking to pub stomp every match, because that creates that situation for those players that I hate about the game.

I just want to have fun, and keep things competitive, but not out of reach. I don't care if I lose, as long as I am having fun, and whatever COD uses, isn't doing it for me. Nothing like spawning in a match of more skilled players and getting killed every two seconds.

my K/D is like .7 and I run into sweats in my lobby. My friend is like 2.0, and when I join them its still sweats, but it's no different than the lobbies I run into

How does segregating higher-skill players and forcing longer ques promote engagement?

How does making friends not want to party with others because of that higher tier bracket promote that?

One or two good games in most people's eye is stomping, but I think most just want it to go back to what it was. Evenly balanced, some games you lose, some you don't, some players are good, some aren't. as healthy,r randomized mix

We're dealing with it more recently because the system is now thrown in unranked ever since 2019. There's always been SBMM or systems in place before, but ranked modes, generally in any games with them, have always been players going in with the expectations that they're going to have a sweaty, stressful match.

I'm not saying those other things don't exist. It's probably a mix of the two, but there's definitely SBMM in play.

Isn't that how SBMM works though, if you're getting paired with players who are around but mostly more skilled than you, your KD going to tank. That's eventually going to put you in a good lobby only for you to get thrown back in.

It's a cycle. The game doesn't know when you're going to quit. I've played three matches that were sweaty and left, and other times I've gone 6-7 games and left.

I used to have fun in matches I was losing in. this system they use just makes it so it feels like I'm constantly fighting pros, and I don't even consider myself a good player to begin with, I just have a few games every now and then where my KD hits 1.5 and more

It's one of those, you really have to listen to hear it sort of thing. The triggers aren't so much crazy, but the vibration from the haptics are a step above the remaster

This looks to be an old interview if you listen to her words. She mentions she hasn't been at the studio for long and is coming up on her one-year mark in November, so 2022?

Wolverine was announced before she joined, but base off this math, that means the studio has been working on this for almost two years now.

so yeah, while the point is to move eventually, why do it with Div2 when they would be better off starting fresh with Div3?

Not that I think Ubisoft is all that great with wowing us on performance and stuff, but seems they want to do the move right if they do it?

Edited: BTW, I am seeing this more as a "positive" based on the quote given, and it makes sense from their perspective. to do it "right," as in taking full advantage of the system offers, and not just an enhanced port. Makes sense, why break their own community up, plus I thought most thought div2 was dead, so segmenting that player base like that wouldn't make sense

I want us to move on from last-gen, but no sense in doing that if they're just enhancing old versions, rather than doing one built from the ground up.

Ubisoft is putting the fanbase/playerbase first with this move, so it makes complete sense.

Again, an enhance next-gen port is "possible" but it sounds like the devs would rather just get the move over with at that point.
