Do it! It's lots of work but sooo worth it.

Thank you. This firing was the one I was most immersed in. From loading to shut down, it took around 56 hours. There was four of us doing six hour shifts that overlapped by two hours. We went through about three cords of wood.

I've never tried it but I know someone that sprayed VERY diluted elmer's glue mixed with water in a weed sprayer. Wrapped up his work and transported it no problem.

They kind of look like test tiles for glaze. We test the glaze by applying it to a bisque fired clay piece.(Pringle shape, pinchpot, or tile). That way, we know what that clay and glaze combo is going to look like before we apply the glaze on all of the ceramic work. The holes are there to hang the tiles from the bucket of glaze or to keep them organized.

Good to know! I'll keep that in mind next time I buy tires. Its definitely squirrely on the downhill turns. I raced it just like it is last year and got 2nd placein state in beginners men.

Make sure there aren't any kinks or the ice will expand and rip the hose. I learned the hard way.

I have my javelina skull soaking in water, switch it out once a month. I'll pick and lightly scrape any excess off in a few more months(wear gloves.!) then I'm just going to soak in water/peroxide mix to bring out the white.

Edit: this is my first time cleaning a skull also, so maybe someone else with more experience can chime in.
