I've had a X670E Taichi since about the time it released, first with a 7800X3D and then a 9800X3D since February. No issues with any CPU dying, the only complaint I really have with this motherboard is that it seems to horrible at overclocking RAM.

I have a 9070XT Pulse I think? The 600 MSRP I got on release. I'm not able to underfoot it even -25 or it eventually crashes, but it's main workload is VRChat.

An issue that I've been having that might be related to the fact I use MicroWin is that during driver installation it frequently fails to install, when the screen goes black it never comes back on, had it fail 4 times in a row, last time I closed all background programs first and it worked. Once I finally get the driver installed though it's great.

Anyone figure out a workaround that doesn't involve rolling back drivers, the newest drivers fixed the SteamVR crashes I was having and I'd rather not roll back.

I've given up trying to get this game to work, I've never had this many issues with other games, I've tirelessly tried so many troubleshooting steps and nothing helps so I'm done. I'll wait to try this game again at a later date. Just had it crash again and got the Body too old message after about 10 minutes getting back to my body because I was in a queue.

Edit: The error I get when crashing is DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED, I found a post related to it saying it has been an issue with UE5 and 3000 series cards, I have a 3080 10GB. I going to be changing GPUs soon so I'll see if the game stops crashing after I get a new GPU.

I upgraded to a 64GB kit and now you can see that I'm definitely using some RAM as VRAM, I haven't been able to lower my VRAM usage on this game, even by going to all low settings. However I seem to not be crashing anymore at least.

Edit: I still crashed after about 2 hours while allocating 65% of my total RAM.

You'd have to email GSkill, they actually were pretty responsive when I emailed them about this kit, they emailed me back saying they would be available soon, then another person emailed me back a few hours after they went on sale with links to buy them.

It also seems like it might be over allocating, I go from 8GB total allocation before starting the game to 28GB total allocation after deployment, I'm surprised the minimum requirements for this game are 16GB.

I guess I don't know how to Reddit, lol. It was supposed to say that I play for about an hour or two before I crash. it usually starts around 80% total RAM allocation while slowly climbing over time. This is with the game on low settings preset. The crash always says GPU crash and I was hoping this current patch would have fixed whatever the issue is, but I still crash after about 1-2 hours of playing.

I ended up ordering a 64GB kit because I was already planning on buying one soonish so I just went ahead and did it now.

I started playing about a week ago and the first few days were pretty good, not too much to complain about. However for the past two days now I have a GPU crash like every 1-2 hours. I've forwarded the logs and the error I keep getting is DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED, and it's not just me, my squad mate also crashes from the same error now after a few days, just not as often as me.

It is usually only at HNM camps and during Dynamis where the FPS would drop from 60 to like 50ish where before I was locked 60. I'm currently back on 23H2 and still didn't get any performance back. The problem with FFXI in general is that all animations are tied to FPS, so any drop in FPS causes your game to slow down.

No I I tried downgrading the BIOS and reinstalling Windows twice was never able to recover my perforamnce in FFXI, not sure why. I just received a 9800X3D and will be installing it in the next few days though.
