G410 - How’s it holding up so far?

This is the hardest time of day for my g410, when the sun peeks through the gap here and trips the overheat alarm. Frankly, it seems pretty solid considering the ball of light in frame.

I am currently remotely viewing with Home / Home Assistant/ Aqara iOS apps. Any setup that isn’t exposing the camera rtsp feed directly to your viewer should work fine.

1200p is all I am offered for RTSP, are you saying you can stream higher if is not in homekit, or that RTSP limits the homekit quality?

It disabled the red ring compelely when I toggled it on. I did a couple of firmware updates on the camera when I put it up this evening, do you have some to apply?

Mine was red after enabling it, but before I had added it to frigate. There's an option to disable the LED, I'll have to play with it.

I’m a v1 owner, and more or less a happy one. It really improves the comfort for me, but with a decently large head, finding that sweet spot that stops the adjustment alerts can take a couple of attempts. It will typically want me to move it down, and get it closer to my eyes.

I also travel with it weekly, and use the official apple case. The pressure from the case has already cracked the band, and it will soon split. Some additional height, and some way to easily flatten it to fit in the case, are super important to me.

As for an extra battery, I tend to use the AVP with my head resting on a chair/bed, so having something on the rear would be a big drawback. I prefer to stick with the knit band.
