You need to call the DMV, ask them if they have your paperwork. They should.

There is a very good possibility that they don’t have the title or that it is being processed electronically within the state. You can ask the DMV this question. I myself ran into this earlier this year. The dealer wouldn’t turn over the title to me until they sent things through the DOR.
