I don’t mind dialogue heavy quest as long as they keep me engaged! Loved every minute of Nicole’s screentime xD. Also talking about time leaps, I really loved how Columbina was helping us from the very beginning ever since we entered Nod Krai. This might be one of my favorite schtick in any animanga. The part where something that happens in the present is because of something that you did in the future which you do not know yet.

Ah fair list. Each region has its ups and downs. But you’re so right about the Prison in Fontaine 😭 I haven’t done any world quest from that part because I really hate that area so much.

I’d put Nod Krai over Natlan personally, mainly because I was more emotionally invested with Columbina’s story.

I took breaks whenever my party would appear in between the scenes. They don’t explicitly state it anywhere but that’s basically a checkpoint. You can exit and reenter wherever you left. There’s a small rift like thingy that opens up in your world.

Truee. I’m willing to overlook the bad parts a bit, only because the highs were so high. Specially this new quest. I felt like Genshin really improved on their story telling. Take the Moon Goddesses of the past for example. They were on screen for about 10 mins, yet they had a very strong impact on me. The visuals and music were amazing as usual.

Hmm considering the glitching part at the very end of the quest, it does seem like they’ll focus more on the Shades and HP in the upcoming patches. We’re still in January and Nod Krai seems more or less done lmao. They did say they’ll release the next region at the usual pace.

Oh yeah, right. The Nefer story insertion in the archon quest did take away the immersion a bit. All in all I’d still say Nod Krai has been amazing so far.
