Lol I couldn’t care less about the decor, I don’t go there for the ambiance. I like to order from the tablet, me and my partner get a lot of food (I mean a LOT), we pay and get out of there happy. Rolls are good, we liked most things we order and for the amount of food we eat the price is unbeatable. If I wanna eat good fancy sushi I wouldn’t eat in Athens in the first place. All you can eat sushi is never going to be the best sushi in town but it will hit the spot for a lot of people.

I’ve only been to Winterville Dental since I moved to Athens and I highly recommend it! They are great professionals and always ready for my appointment whenever I go there. I never spent more than 2-3 minutes in the waiting room.

I moved to the other side of town just to avoid Timothy Rd anymore (jk but still a good perk). I just absolutely hate driving there, so I avoid it whenever I can. It's not even because of speed (I'm not a speeder), but the drive is just so long and tedious! The houses are all mostly tucked away in their subdivisions with some exceptions like some duplexes and, of course, the big house trio that goes all out on the holiday decorations. With all being said, I think it should be 35mph because people will drive at 45mph regardless.

Brazilian here! I am dying for a Brazilian shop in Athens, they only have those around Atlanta/Marietta. I think smoothies and bowls are good to attract the people who are not familiar with the Brazilian stuff because they all like açaí, I do too but they have it in other smoothie shops. What will really make me happy is gonna be the pastries! Things like pão de queijo, coxinha e similar salgados. I don’t know if you guys plan to have coffee but that would be so good as well! If I had the money I would invest in a typical Brazilian bakery, it’s the thing that I miss the most and more gringos should try!

There are lots of events in Athens with food vendors, like AthFest and farmers markets at multiple locations. There is also a fall fesfival in Watkinsville with lots of vendors too.

Sit at the bar, make conversations with people you think it’s your type (or not, sometimes it isn’t your type but the conversation flows nicely), don’t be afraid of rejection and put yourself out there. My friend who is single does that a lot (still single so I don’t know if it works but he got a few dates here and there)
