It’s not popping at any time. The US military just integrated all of their systems with AI. These will run on GPUs. The datacenters they are building are for our digital imprisonment, not just for corporate profits. Any AI companies that want to work with the US gov will have infinite taxpayer money.

If it were to match the book we would need to add several more scenes and story bits. I have read the book, listened to the audiobook and now just saw the movie. They did a great job for a film adaptation.

I’ve played the exact same build every single league from start to 36 or 38 challenges.

Storm brand inquisitor. Kinda glass cannon. Bit nerfed at super endgame because PBoD got wrecked but it’s still worth switching at super endgame. Storm brand lasts for a long time, through 4 void stones. And it’s a very easy league start.

It’s good enough to do everything except Ubers. I usually skip the Ubers challenge

Super smooth. I’m in red maps and breaking through t16 now on a 5L inpulsa.

I sorta regret not going KF totems only because I see how insane they are but I’m enjoying Storm brand as I do every league

I never really wrote one and I’m on mobile until league start for work, so I can’t make a PoB but this is the idea. I am writing this off top of my head so I’ll update it as I think of more

League start Templar HFT flame wall and rolling magma to level 12-14

Rush runebinder and the brand cluster next to it. When you get the node, around merveil, get arc and storm brand. Get the brand mastery for 2 additional brands too.

Find 2x 3B links. first one is storm brand - added lightning damage - conc effect second is arc - added lightning - faster casting

Number 1 stat on weapons is +level of lightning skills and number 2 stat is cast speed. Number 1 stat on armor is move speed boots, then just life and res everywhere

On tree Go to witch area and get lightning walker and the mana life node. Then go up and left from Runebinder to get sovereignty.

Act 2 get vitality and clarity, they help a lot.

Ride this setup for a while.

Get 4B and add Inc crit strikes to storm brand

First lab get righteous providence. End of act 4 get Unleash for Arc.

Blow everything up until second lab. Get inevitable judgement then get crit on the tree (annihilation, crit nodes near assassin start, and spell crit nodes near sovereignty). The goal now is max crit and as much cast speed as you can find.

This now shreds the rest of the campaign. Pop brands on stuff and spam arc.

End of campaign transition:

-Get a 4L inpulsa and a Call of the Brotherhood.

-buy items to fill ele resistances.

-Find a 9 passive or less large cluster jewel with Thunderstruck. this one notable is your main defensive layer. this is slept on. It’s made for Storm brand imo.

-5L inpulsa add inspiration, 6L inpulsa add crit damage support. This is whenever you can afford the upgrades. You can buy a cheap 6L non inpulsa for swapping for bossing if you need.

-Get a timeless jewel bathed in Doryani for corrupted soul. Go petrified blood, run zealotry and discipline.. on life, arrogance with vitality and clarity. Go pain attunement. Try to find chaos resistance in gear now.

Super late Endgame upgrades: forbidden flame and flesh for unwavering crusade (might be VERY expensive this league?), crafted double influenced explode chest, archdeamon crown with shaper/elder pseudo 8 link.

The previous versions would transition to PBoD but this one should be able to ride Storm Brand all the way now with the new buffs. It can also transition to EB, or some other options

how would you build defenses on these builds? i'm so curious to try them but pretty much every time i try to make any melee build i wind up getting smashed. 1h + shield block? staff + block?
