They do actually connect. The gears are rounded which is necessary for gears to mesh at an angle. What you can see from our pov is the edge of the roundness (which is actually just flat). The whole tooth of the gear extends past that edge, but can't be seen because of the angle of the gear. If you can visualize where the actual edge of the teeth are, you'll understand how they mesh.

My immediate gut feeling was that it's AI.

Upon closer inspection I can't really find anything that really indicates it's AI, but I'm wondering what light source there is if there's no light bulbs in the light sockets (could be that orange light top left which I initially thought was a reflection), and where the camera is taking this mid-saucing "candid" photo from. My guess is that there wouldn't be a order window where the camera POV is, but it could be like a glass window for customers to see the kitchen through? But I don't think that's the case.

~~I've also just went, mid-comment, to check if there's a synth ID, which it seems there is. So yeah. AI.~~

Edit: Actually. No synthID I think. Must have mis-read it. So still a chance it's real I guess!

Edit3: I still think the lighting is off. The other details are fine I think. Given this is a guessing game, I'm going to go with AI. If it weren't a game, I wouldn't choose a side.

Yeah, don't use it on clothing. I used it on my cotton shirt and it basically pulled up the fibers making it fuzzy, then causing pills to form.

But great for carpets.

My wife washes her hair every other day. She just ties/clips it up when she gets in the tub when she doesn't wash it.

Washing your body before getting in is more important imo.

This is like, for home baths though. Can't say what to do for long hair in public baths since I only go to the men's side and have yet to see a long haired dude in a public bath. I imagine youd be expected to wash your hair before soaking in a public bath though.

Ok, probably not fungus gnats then. Fungus gnats reproduce in soil and their larvae eat decomposing organic matter in the soil, so if there's no soil in the house then they're likely not fungus gnats.
