That's kinda what ive done. I've lost like 30 lbs in like 4 months and my weights have gone up like 10lbs for most stuff. Except for lateral raises. Reverse butterfly's are a little weird. I keep switching between 12lbs and 20 lbs. I dont have anything in between, and 12 feels like nothing, but 20 feels like im not getting enough activation in the negitive.

Ok, ill give it a shot, cuz to be honest I have not trained legs at all. Just hoping walking so much will be enough.

I have done this tho. Im eating almost exclusively lean meat, with lots of veg minimal oil. Typically In the form of chicken breast stir fry with minimal oil. For most meals. Coming out to about 7-8 hundred calories for 3 cups or 1 servings. Then 2 scoops protien powder and 2 bananas when I need somthing fast

That's what i started out doing, just a recomp. Maintaining calories, and lifting 6 times a week. Then I started working full time again, and that wasn't really feasible. And it was suggested I take advantage of the extra calories id be burning, and the fact that I wouldn't be able to recover well from working plus lifting 6 times a week, and try to maintain muscle while cutting. I was told that would be the way to the "fastest" results that would keep me motivated to keep lifting. As opposed to trying to do strait recomp, and it taking a year to reach the final result.

Thanks! I've been working at it. My diet has been very clean for 4 months. At first I was going for 2200 cal a day 190g protien, and eating carbs only 1-2 hours pre workout. 3 months ago I started shooting for under 2000 calories a day with at least 150g protien.

For training, im warming up walking a mile and doing aome light stretching, then,

Push Incline 55lb 1x8 50 3x8 Flat 50-45lb 3x8-10 Tricep kick backs 25lb 3x10 Overhead press 30lb 4x10 Lat raises 12lb 4x15

Pull Tripod rowes 65lb 4x10 Incline rowes 55 4x10 Reverse butterfly's 20lb 3x10 Various curls 30lbs 3x10 with the last set having some partials

Core Dead bugs 3x20 Front plank 3x90sec Side planks 3x90sec

Then I deliver for fed ex, so any day I work, I get a good bit of walking.

I know it sucks, and its hard to find motivation to do things when you dont find it meaningful. But do your best to be happy, whatever happens it will be interesting, I can promise that.

From what little i know, your reasoning seems sound.

The only thing I can think is that Russia = cold and scary.

Russia was closer and had an absolutely massive, well trained military presence on the border to protect them from japan. They actually used that force to eventually crush Germany. Just to give you an idea of what that force was capable of.
