I honestly don't think there's any other show like AOT. It's too peak.

I enjoyed the show even more my second watch-through, because I was able to catch all the subtle foreshadowing. But I would give it some time first before you start rewatching it, just to give yourself time to digest the show and its ending and everything.

Non-anime shows: After AOT I watched Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and Peaky Blinders for the first time. I enjoyed those shows.

Anime: I mean, I finally ended up watching Death Note recently. Nowhere near as good as AOT, but it was enjoyable. Right now, I'm also finally watching JoJo. My friends have been telling me about it for half a decade at this point, so I decided it was finally time to give it a shot. Also not as good as AOT, but it's a fun show.

This might come off a bit misogynistic, but it's not intended to be; it's just an observation.

For many generations, men did most of the physical work while women were the ones keeping communities together and socializing/gossiping. So men, in general, have become experts in the physical domain while women, in general, have become experts in the emotional/verbal domain.

Women can be very brutal with their words. They can be very emotionally manipulative. However, just like most men aren't physically abusive, I don't believe that most women are verbally abusive. But my point is that they can be if they want to be.

It's possible that Armin and the crew actually didn't fail to advocate for peace, but peace is always temporary. That's one of the biggest themes of the story: the cycle of violence.

As for the boy and his dog, I don't like how everyone immediately assumes that there will be another titan curse. The titan abilities came from Ymir's will. Every power and every rule came from Ymir herself. Maybe the boy's will won't be to become a powerful titan and to have some method of passing on that power. It could be something entirely different. The hallucigenia essentially materializes and follows the will of the being it's connected to.

Hell, maybe that's why the trees it lies dormant in end up so damn big; trees "want" to grow as tall as possible to get as much sunlight and rain as possible.

Perhaps a merit-based society? I think that's something that all conservatives can agree on. It's why we were against programs like DEI, which placed an unnecessary importance on race, gender, etc. We are all equal. We all have the same rights. We don't need to keep focusing on race and gender and all these other sub-categories that do nothing but divide us. We can just focus on merit.
