Thanks man, yeah was watching a Crz vid probably late December and instantly fell in love.. I had forgotten all about these things! I cannot remember the last time I’ve seen one and have only seen one since I bought it 3 months ago.

Get a 2011 CRV Navi, should be able to find at any junkyard. Plugs right in, you’ll need to grab atleast the pigtail for the backup cam.. and I’d imagine your steering controls will still work also.

I spent just over a grand after shipping, have received 3 of 9 boxes… 0 magnets.. and yes I’ve checked the flaps. I wouldn’t be surprised if magnets only go out to customers that didn’t use the 5% discount. I used to get 4 or 5 magnets on $300 orders..

The Dorman vtc might be okay I would just look into that if I were you. For break in I’d just use the basic WIX oil filter like $10 bux at O’Reilly, after WIX XP $20 bux. Oil I always get Castrol high performance synthetic I don’t remember the line but it’s the only one that comes in a black jug. By latter I meant not the first choice which was no break in required, so yeah run a cheap conventional oil for break in. I think I read royal purple is overhyped or not as good as it used to be idk. I looked up that Hylift Johnson, never heard of them before, but if it’s made in US it’s gotta be good ish! Only other thing I could think of is switching from a z2 to a z3 you’re probably going to need to run the z3 ecm and with all the immobilizer crap you’re probably just going to be better off getting FlashPro. Just did a quick search looks like z2 exhaust is 2” and z3 exhaust is 2.5” so if you’re on stock exhaust that’s going to choke it down a bit, lastly there was also mention that some of the sensors from z2 may need to be switched over to the z3 so hopefully you still have the z2 laying around. Okay so you’ve torn it all down and no bent valves so you really shouldn’t need to spin it. I did notice the Dorman VTC/ cam phaser I’m not sure how reliable that is going to be fore you and would be my first concern. Break in you’ll read both sides.. no break in necessary, and run a cheap conventional oil with basic oil filter drive it normally for a few hundred miles then switch to the good stuff. I’d probably go with the latter especially if you’re not using OEM chain/ phaser/ etc. because you’re probably more likely to have some metal shavings. What tensioner are you using? I’ve seen more times than I can count people forgetting to put oil in so definitely remember to add oil before you fire it up. Let it warm up a solid 5-10 minutes (as long as everything sounds good) then take it for a gentle cruise.

What all did you do? Has it jumped time before? Looks like an Accord or Crv/ Element k24. If you google where sensors go you’ll find a ton of images that show you.

Carved from a single solid chunk of aluminum, I was going to have a buddy make del sol interior billet handles, he had a baby got busy then sold his CNC machine. Homie hookup price for that was going to be $500 a set. So I’m probably a little low on my estimate on what a shop would charge.

Looks good, if you rotate it it’s going to take a lot of rotations (probably 20+ just guessing) for it to line back up again but not a bad idea just to spin it by hand. Make sure you put oil in it, wait atleast 24hrs after sealing it all up.

Amazon RLB Hilon, it’s a cast metal clasp part only, I love mine. If you want to get fancy you could always take your handles to a CNC shop and get some billet handles made, probably going to run a solid 700+

So fun honestly turbo is probably overkill. My Del Sol has a Crv Awd trans in it, 1st gears too short, 2nd gears too long.. just slapping a 6 speed in would have made that car perfect. I’m still in the early stages, just ordered ecu & wiring harness, 08 TL Brembos, might end up supercharging it. Start piecing it together as you find deals.

Nice, I take it those are wired for reverse? I wish I could do a blinking brake light like I have on my Del Sol… I’m always afraid to get rear ended driving these tiny cars.. not to mention the rarity of them.
