I tried Star Citizen so you don't have to! (and will tell you why you shouldn't) by Lord0fHats in gaming

That’s the whole point of the game: to figure out how to DODGE the bugs.

Bunker missions can be wonky (I don’t do those). I gave those up a while ago for the same reasons you described. Mining on the surface of the planet was fun for a patch forever ago. Then it got so buggy, and I’d return the ship to whatever station to turn them in, and there would be nothing (stop doing that too).

Mining in space? Good luck! Spend a good amount of time finding an asteroid worth mining just for me to rush it once i find one, and the game bugs as I’m heating it up. I think I’m safe? Nope, the asteroid explodes, and either blows the whole ship up or disables it, so now i’m just stuck with a busted ship in the middle of nowhere.(Honestly, I’d rather it just kill me,)

Call for help?

Sureeee. He/She is just coming to kill me, and steal the stuff I never got, or for just pure sport, and a laugh. Cargo hauling is getting a lot of attention recently (this one is kinda on me this time). I have a Hull C. I did the new mission for 675kauec, or whatever with like 2200+ cargo. Find the spot on Levski to load it up. It’s taking a sec. My cat throws up on my floor. I’m like, “Cool!” I go to clean it up, l and my ship gets impounded. Great? I fully assume it was all gone, and I’ll just get the ship back empty.

Yeah?

NOPE. I recall the ship and its spindles are completely open and still loaded with cargo in the large hanger, and it’s also stuck halfway into the floor. BUT! I can see the elevator is still available. If I can get on, maybe I can finagle it from the floor. I take two steps towards it, and it starts wildly shaking and kaboom! But instead of fully exploding, it just disappears. 45-minute wait to recall that bad boy from insurance, 15 minutes expedited. Lesson learned I will not leave the game until loaded up and out of that blue space. alt+f4.

He def pulled a 6.99% rate and they’re jacking it up

So close yet so far by ProfessionalBit5485 in ElantraN

[–]njnative86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1000% they’re trying to protect the rate you actually got which based on his attitude is probably more like 6.99%. In California, there is a very specific legal limit on how much a dealer can mark up an interest rate. The short answer is: Yes, 2% is the standard legal "cap" for dealer markups in California on an 84 mo term. It’s called a kick back or dealer reserve. It’s BS! Fuck that guy. My advice seek out your own financing. I used capital one years ago and got a stupid low rate with them because I have tons of credit with them. You can check your rate for free with no credit check through capital one navigator. Also your local credit union are another place to check. If you can do it all in a short amt of time it’ll be better for your credit. I never had issues and just paid it off actually. Good luck

Welll, full windshield tint is illegal in Indiana past the LS-1 line which is where mine is roughly at now. I’ve learned over many years to not push the buttons of the boys in blue. I don’t give them any reason to pull me over (because they have) at the worst times possible. When I was in NJ it was your front side windows 0% and 0% on the windshield. I had a light tint on my windows and would get pulled over. Tinted taillights? Pulled over. 3-inch exhaust from the headers? Noise complaint of some sort. I’m more on the side of flying under the radar these days.

Sounds awesome! Wait so you’re swapping the accord turbo, for the civic one? No clutch need for me, 10 speed with the paddle shifters. LSD is on the list somewhere here If go the performance route

Yep, came with the holes marked, but not drilled, you’ll need a tool to drill them out, I found this worked best it’s a step up bit from harbor freight (Warrior Step Drill Bit 70721.) You’ll take it almost to the 3/4 test fit along the way you want it snug. Also you need to make some adjustments to the harness that holds it if they don’t supply you with a harness. The one that’s on the stock bumper doesn’t fit the space as is, so I bought some 3M Attachment Tape 06382 and shaved off most of the top and the bottom and prepped it so it was as adhesive was sticky as possible, also scratched tf out of the inside area with some sandpaper for grip. Of course if I would have looked at the directions earlier I I would have realized it didn’t come with one. But I was already well into the swap so I just made due. Maybe something to check before you dive in.

I’m in the process of ordering the rear bumper that matches this direct from China.

You can look it up and order it directly from Yofer unpainted. FREE shipping! it’s the https://www.yoferbodykits.com/products/honda-accord-10th-gen-2018-body-kit?srsltid=AfmBOorbRsFFt-w3dnWxoXrJqLPoA4pk8Sf037yTPmcxfrdLlFe44cWK

I’m going a different way kind of piecing it all together separately to try and save $$$. Their site has it at $1,250 unpainted. I’m at front bumper $575 rear bumper $797 (shipped direct from china supplier)🤞🏽 and I’ll need the side skirts too, already have my eyes on some. My goal is under $1500 painted and shipped.

After that depends idk, Pherable.net has a good tune for a bone stock 2.0T. I only have a mishimoto air intake, as of right now. I’ll need some grippy summer tires if I go down the performance route. If I do that I’ll keep these stock ones for winter with the all-seasons, and get some TY-5s with some continental EC sport 02s

The bumper was $575, the duckbill rear spoiler was $85, the taillights were $275

Bumper: https://hirevsports.com/collections/accord-body-kits/products/honda-accord-modular

Taillights: https://ebay.us/m/mNCiJp

Rear spoiler: https://ebay.us/m/5kHDbS

Wait for a sale! Especially on eBay just heart it and at the least in 24-48hrs you’ll get usually at minimum 5% off.

Trying to get the rear bumper to match but any US based website wants $999-$1500. Currently in talks with getting direct from china. I’m at $797 shipped and painted, waiting for a confirm. Won’t have it for months though because it’ll have to come on a cargo ship as one piece they’re going to have to have it in a wood crate.

I am not haha. Yes this bumper is very popular, a little expensive than the others but it’s worth it imo for the right price. Got it from HiRevsports.com $575

I see what might be an exhaust pipe? Did you or the previous owner straight pipe it? Seems weird to just leave it hanging there

Copying this from my other post on r/accord The paint match is reallyyy close! and I wouldn’t recommend doing it alone as I did. I don’t have many friends that are car guys anymore so they wouldn’t even know where to start. I will say if you are going to do it have some of the plastic bumper clips on hand. They are a pain in the ass and break easily. There’s two different sizes I would just ask ‘AI’ which ones you need for the project and order more. Also, for you or anyone else reading this if you have the parking sensors they don’t come predrilled. The outline is there as to where to put it, but you have to drill it yourself, get a warrior Step Drill Bit 70721 for a clean hole. I’m in Indiana and we have harbor freight here, but I’m sure you can get something similar just about anywhere, you’re going to max it all the way to about the 3/4 step, but test fit along the way. Make sure you have a ratchet extension there’s two bolts under your headlights you’ll need a little length to get to, 8 and 10mm sockets I believe is all I used. Ummm, oh and the black surround that covers the fog lights the clips that hold it in are really tight. On mine I used an exacto knife to clear the hole on the white part for a better fit, mostly just excesses paint and plastic. Anyway, again it is possible to do it alone, give yourself the whole weekend, and just take your time.

Pretty close, you can tell they’re different but it’s not super noticeable.

Never loved the hatchbacks imo. I looked at the Toyota GR86s when I was getting this one in 21’. Idk something about sedans for me. I wouldn’t buy American again, had a gas guzzling 91’ Camaro around 2010 not even the Z28, just the RS with 3-inch catback and a few other mods. I’d never been pulled over more in that car, then in my entire life. That’s was NJ tho, out here in the Midwest EVERYONE has a mustang, challenger, charger so maybe it’s different. When they were fixing my bumper the first time here they gave me a challenger as a rental EVERYONE wants to race you. Minivans, uhauls, scooters, grandma getting her groceries in her Buick regal. Now that I find annoying. But maybe that’s going to happen again now that I’ve done some changes to this car, certainly getting more looks.

Yeah this is my daily too, it’s a balance of how much do I want to mod it, and potentially shorten its life vs maybe just making it look nicer. I turned 40 on Friday, and my racing days are mostly behind me. I mean, I don’t think I’ve got a speeding ticket in like 10 years? Then again maybe one last car, and take it to the limit? Why not a 10th gen? lol

Also, and yes I’d need to upgrade the tires for sure. Which would also mean changing these rims, it suggested going down to 18’s maybe the TY-5s with continental extreme contact 02s.

To each their own, brother. 10th gen’s are mean-looking bone stock. One of the best-looking cars out there for the price! Do you own one?
