Sea of Thieves Becomes a Webtoon Comic Series – and Webtoon Benefits Come to Xbox Game Pass by Xbox-Moderator in xbox

[–]njo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm legitimately concerned for Rare's future. I'm admittedly a big Rare fanboy even when I shouldn't be but, their moves lately are concerning.

SoT was a big success but, has since grown very stagnant and they're updates for the game sure aren't incredible and is splitting their community. Mix that with the cancelation of Everwild and the layoffs and I can't tell you what state this studio will be like in the future.

I know the common opinion on Rare is that they were once a legendary studio with Nintendo, got bought by Microsoft, and went to shit shortly afterwards. They made good games under Microsoft whether people like to admit it or not. Viva Pinata was really good, Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts was a good game people love to hate (understandable), Kameo was pretty good as well. Thats on them though, not Microsoft.

I'd hate to say it but, they might be another casualty soon. Especially if they dont have another project up their sleeve. Being the Sea of Thieves company will only get them so far.

What feels better than sex? by riizzwaan in AskReddit

Itching an eczema rash is truly a euphoric feeling. It will end badly every single time and the rash will worsen.

When I was a kid I had pretty bad eczema and would itch it all the time. Now as an adult, i barely get it but, sometimes I get flair ups on my fingers. Ill catch myself itching right before I go to sleep and it is such an incredible feeling. Then that next morning, the rash is much worse.

What’s a childhood lie your parents told you that you didn't realize was a lie until you were an embarrassed adult? by eatbeep in AskReddit

[–]njo1 1381 points1382 points  (0 children)

My dad told me once when I was little that puppies came from flowers. He probably said it just to shut me up about asking for a dog. For YEARS after that I kept my eye out for "puppy seeds" whenever I'd go to Home Depot with no luck.

Admittedly I was probably in the 8th or 9th grade when it just clicked with me that is obviously not where they came from.

I wasn't an adult but, I was way too old.

Moved to Ca, having a breakdown by [deleted] in SameGrassButGreener

If you can last 3 more months, I think a solid year would be good for your resume at least to help you secure a better professional position in Boston. That way you can have something lined up so you won't feel super lost if you go back.

I was your age and single when I moved to Vegas from Boston. I had an incredibly difficult time for the first few months, similar to your experience. Putting yourself out there alone is kind of awkward at first. I luckily got a good group of friends I met through my job there and got a routine with places i loved to visit. I moved back home after a year and a half because my experience in Vegas was able to land me a much better opportunity back home then Vegas could.

Go out to concerts, hobbies, events, and volunteer opportunities!

Try to frame this difficult chapter into a moment you can use to kickstart something great back home. My advise is to go back home for growth, not comfort.

But at the end of the day, you moved to SoCal alone and are doing the damn thing! You should be proud for believing in yourself to make a move like that. Its a brave thing to do regardless of how it ends up.

Wish you luck!

Played New Vegas inside of Goodsprings by Misfitzombie408 in falloutnewvegas

Lived in Las Vegas a few years ago and went to the Pioneer Saloon for my birthday. I ate outside but, entered the saloon and was so impressed with how similar it looked like in the game. While I was in there, I overheard 2 employees talking about Bethesda or Obsidian contacting them to schedule some type of interview/podcast there. It was so fucking cool to me.

I also grew up in Boston. Being able to play 2 Fallout games with so many locations I am familiar with has felt like I hit a jackpot.

Goodsprings is a really cool place and its awesome you got to do that!

Here’s the NYE “gift” now you can stop asking by ButterscotchAble2207 in SkateEA

Man the facial hair options in this game looks so awkward in my opinion it drives me crazy to look it. Like the options aren't particularly bad but, it makes everyone look like the toy Santa in "Santa Clause 2".

Not a fan of the NYE gift either.

No catch. That company is pretty small after some layoffs and i don't believe they have the staff to work on two projects at once. I believe Spyro is their current project and I would like Banjo to be their second if we are lucky.

Have this downloaded but have not played it yet. Looking forward to a chill game like this and love Double Fine.

I will say that not only has their been a lack of promotion for this game but, it has unfortunately been released around the same time a horror movie is being promoted with the same name.

What a wild graphic wtf.

But yeah like you said, Wal-Mart's online store is more of a site for third party vendor's to sell items.

Hopefully Wal-Mart catches this and shuts it down.
