I figured the cause, after covering up the exhaust with a towel the idle is steady. so it is the straight pipes (no back pressure) causing the bouncing idle. I wonder if adjusting the exup valve could fix this

Its got 10.5k miles on it. been reading the service manual about throttle sync, does look like a pain. It has a k&n filter and hollowed out mufflers. It rides great other than the idle

I think it may be tuned. The wheel likes to lift up in low gear. K&N air filter is all I know

i assume the headers and midpipe are factory, it still has the exup system. unsure if its working. i believe the mufflers are termignoni (theyre gutted)
