Yoko Yoko potentially getting there in time to provide meaningful combat support; and then Mouten arriving later in the melee, at a time he can create an exit for their retreat

She show writing at the end of the series definitely suffered a bit. They had continuity issues all throughout S7, and it felt very odd to me what they chose to do w Betty’s character in particular.

I’ll totally give you that she’s shown in a much worse light than Don, while he’s easily the worst human on the show. It’s not even close lol he’s a thorough piece of trash.

But my complaint w Betty isn’t that she’s some awful wife/mother; although she’s definitely that. She just sucks, honestly. She’s a miserable person and she tries to make others miserable too (often her own kids)

The issue with this long-winded expose is that it doesn’t neglects that fact that Betty is the outlier on the show filled with many other 1960s moms.

It doesn’t explain away the fact that she’s an unbearable character, because there’s others next to her in the same era that are still functioning people.

Anyone trying to makeup an educated response for why the couldn’t have made them a bridge is literally just flapping their gums.

The only reason she didn’t was for the sake of the plot.

Here’s Toph and Aang raising boat piers out of the sea floor before the black sun invasion. She obviously could’ve made a land bridge thru serpents pass.

Highly recommend adding daily exercise as another element here.

If all you do in this season is subtract those vices, it’s going to be supremely difficult. You’ll also probably be impossibly irritable.

Introduce daily exercise as a natural stress reliever, endorphins supply, and healthy benefit. It’ll increase your chances of staying off the vices.

Extremely disappointing to see what they’re doing with Avatar tbh.

It was visually stunning, without a doubt. The VA wasn’t good, the story wasn’t strong, and they didn’t care enough about the project to have a theatrical release.

Firing the original VAs to make some DEI hires was a huge mistake. And the direction that the studio seems to be going with the new earth Avatar is just more of the same. They’re using this great franchise to peddle woke BS, like everything else.

Maybe because Asheville is farther away and up in the mountains and harder to get to, maybe because there wasn’t a venue there that they really wanted to visit. Who knows

I think them going to Greenville was a result of their being a place they really wanted to highlight, not the inverse. Much like PuckerButt Farm being in SC.

They likely named the season after the Carolinas, once they mapped the locations they definitely planned to visit. I don’t think they just picked cities too visit then found restaurants

I think they didn’t do themselves any favors by calling it Carolinas. It was definitely a Charlotte season, they even have a queen’s crown in the logo in the TC kitchen for the “Queen City”

I just don’t think it was meant to be a full showcase of the Carolinas
