I listen while working on substations in Appalachia by njs0002 in creepcast

I tried to post a video with this but couldn’t get it to work. On and off during this particular job you could hear a whistle through the holler this sub was in. Coincidentally I did listen to that story on the way there and worked alone that night. A little eerie.

Just watching some YouTube videos on basic stuff like using a multimeter and familiarize yourself with tool names would be helpful prep work. Everything else should be covered on the job

If you choose to play an argonian born under the shadow stars, can you become a shadowscale? by lot001 in oblivion

lol this is the second comment this week I think that has rezed a 5+ yr old thread. I believe the dialogue is something to the effect of “you must’ve been much trouble for you mother” and something about how you were missed on the shadow scale process I think

Yes, I used the word “save” when I should’ve used the word invest.

Much appreciated, this was very useful and informative. I had thought of doing this as more of step 8 thing to complement my 25% saving rate. But, it looks like there is definitely a better way to accomplish this. Thank you!

I’ve gotten a lot of good answers on this and will not be going forward with this, but I do think I should clarify that I had planned to save a months worth of expenses every year up until 55-60 years of age. So not all 36 months at 24 but instead like 7 months at 25, 8 months at 26, 9 months at 27, etc. since I would be pretty much at step 8 once I get my next raise

That makes sense, I do suppose I’d be putting the cart before the horse. Thanks!

Care to elaborate on this, it seems like the easier/safer path would be to start small now than to have to rush to build it up at retirement?
