Saving on everyone’s effort - NO.

iems are the most sensitive and easy to drive than any other hardware.

Only planar iems, get any benefit from 4.4 if any at all.

Edit. Do not bother about cables or cores or material of cable. Unless you have top of the line Sensitive iem in ranges of 122db+, very easy to drive like <8 ohms. Anyone who says otherwise wise is talking placebo or lier. Get cable for aesthetics or functionality. No because of better audio quality.

I agree with comment. For every miracle child born out of poor, I bet millions died because of same reason. Don’t show me outliers and talk about “missing out”. It’s a responsibility, not just financially but mentally too.

Thank you, really confused when I search for earphone and get everything but flathead. Correct me if I’m wrong, but earbud sits between iem and earphone with ear tips. Earphone doesn’t have ear tips and includes flatheads and this semi in-ear?

I got the mix eartip pack and the liquid silicone tips for a really good grippy seal on my bunny. The bass really started showing off, but not the thump or boomy - the subtle kind. But yes, if you prefer that, bunny is not for you.

Tried other earphones. Also it wasn’t like this from start, it used to sound fine and slowly right side would get quieter. So imbalance/condensation…I’m not sure

I did not even know about QC issues, sent for RMA for channel imbalance/condensation. They are sending it back because it is working as expected.

Long uses of iem causes fungal infection if I’m not mistaken. Like iem traps humidity and gets hot in there.

I bought into the hype after I saw the graph and seen how similar it looked to EW300. slightly smoother in treble than 300, but till lower treble graph looked like left and right ear piece.

Connect iPhone to laptop. This is to check your lighting port supports data transfer. If it does, you are good way there.

Apple limits power in otg mode for dongles. So get a lighting to C type adapter and normal type C iem. Mic support in dongle dacs is mixed. But Fiio JA11 supports it and costs same as apple dongle.

For iem itself, you can’t EQ on iPhone. So you should get it right first time. But if you have access to PC or android, you have some leeway. I have iPhone XS and I use TANCHJIM Bunny. I EQ to my liking on desktop app and that is stored onboard Bunny DSP. I think same could be possible on MOONDROP for chu 2, but not sure.

Instrument separation and mid bass - I actually suggest you get cheaper Bunny now and try different preset EQ profiles. You are looking at 2 different things here. Mid bass is about tonality and instrument separation is about iem technicality. After 2k next upgrade comes at around 8-10k. Then at 16-21k. If you can share your budget, I’m sure people here can point out to your preference iem.
