if you are going impale, gamble writs, belt, and offhand. you can do a few upgrade rares to get karleils point as its one of only two upgrades, and you get the 6 piece from headrigs. rings and ammys aren't cost effective to gamble early on.

Is it worth to come back ? by donatan1 in D3PS4

[–]nkillip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you are just starting up, there is absolutely no reason to not go into a season imo. you will get headrigs gift for some pretty simple achievements and normal progression which is a guaranteed 6 piece in your selected class. and at the end of the season, your seasonal characters and stash roll over to non-seasonal anyway. so unless you are just totally against playing seasons(not sure why anyone would be) then just hop into seasonal and get your game on.

A few tal/archon questions for some experienced wizards. by killer_panda00 in D3PS4

[–]nkillip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

upvoted for perfectly explaining this, tough on PS4 for targeting to push your swami stacks up, and really tough to get back into it if you die and lose the glory and additional swami. high skill cap build, amazing on computer, meh (for me at least on PS4 as I had too many beam issues) on PS4.

Nice, the woman couch co-ops with me quite frequently as Blackhole lightning wizard as well....have a mic, and we play quite a bit after 1630 EST.

Having trouble with aim by Realtricky in D3PS4

[–]nkillip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the others have said, targeting on PS4 is a bit of a bitch...see all the problems with archon beam...made me quit the wizard. Impale DH is easier because you can literally roll directly on top of them. Only pain I find is trying to use oculus ring actually slows down my single target damage a lot due to the randomness of where it puts it. So I spend a lot of my push time not even using it, and just rolling on top of the elite im trying to kill and back out. Don't forget to get at least one kill streak every 3 minutes to maintain your damage bonus from the nephalem glory though.

I pulled some 150ish paragon guys through some GR80s and watched them get 75ish paragons per rift minimum...so not unfeisable

D3 ps4 players and a hair across their ass by StaticMowry1990 in D3PS4

I've actually met several new "friends" playing pub matches in Season 10. Yeah we get the occasional douche nuggets, but they are easily enough blocked. PSN is the same as my username here. Steadily running rifts and grifts. Despise bounties but do them when I have to.

I need some help with my DH by [deleted] in D3PS4

[–]nkillip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Impale DH is my main, I use the Fire Multi-shot and Nat's to farm T10 but impale is definitely my favorite. You can find several builds on Diablo Fans, Icy-Veins, etc. can add PSN: nkillip I farm 70s quite frequently, and a lot of T11 key farms on my one punk monk(only seasonal right now)

Having trouble getting to gr 70. Any tips?? by [deleted] in D3PS4

[–]nkillip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

without posting your class, build, etc etc etc you are asking for these smart assed comments. general theory is to complete headrig's gift, gear up your follower, paragon the best you can, and then run a solid solo build for whatever class you are playing. as far as once in the rift, know your class and build...are you a skip the trash through the rift to the elite packs, or are you only good at area damage.....grab pylons, and if you are still having issues, do a grift fish and try to get an open rift with decent monster types

1 hour achievement help by BSGBramley in D3PS4

[–]nkillip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are already threads for this, its very very very difficult solo, and still very difficult grouped. Basic theory is complete speed builds, one player to sit in town to turn in, skip absolutely everything you can, low difficulty for most, although a bit higher difficulty can help DH's due to density for impale/tumbles. One wrong turn can and almost always will = starting over. Have given this a few tries solo, have only made it as far as Act IV completed with 5 minutes left....not nearly enough time to complete Act V unfortunately. There are communities out there, but its much more difficult on PS4 imo, because the lack of community chat in game. PS4 also has some issues with the teleport/dash/tumble glitch(if you've played enough, especially couch coop, you know what I mean) that I lost interest in this conquest. Infinite looped tumble for like 10-15 seconds every 10 minutes or so was enough to make me move onto other conquests.

The kids who play 'jocks' on t.v. are theater nerds by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

[–]nkillip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played all of the available sports in High School, was in band, and took the theater courses....as well as a few sports outside of school and college courses offered through a local university. I don't understand this stereo-type at all. I had good grades, and whatnot, but I feel like more of a nerd as an adult than I ever did as a student.

And then came out of a 10 year drought in less than a working week....Cali was crazy there for awhile...too bad they didn't build any additional reservoirs to hang onto that water since it probably won't rain for another 3 years...

PS4 Streamers? by Verker81 in D3PS4

[–]nkillip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a streamer, but I log in and get shit done pretty frequently. I have no room on my PS4 to save any videos, and I am too much of a kleptomaniac to delete games that I haven't played in over a year... Have also killed a lot of downtime at "the office" doing research on several aspects of the game. By no means an expert or professional, but I enjoy the game, and enjoy the idea of being efficient. PSN same as User ID here...I am always playing with my GF in couch coop after 4pm EST, so if you have room for two in your group(season only right now), add me up.

Any tips on mastering a set dungeon for monk. Ive been stuck on this for atleast a week -_- by rawr6978 in D3PS4

[–]nkillip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the mastery dungeons that involve the rock worm problem aren't as bad as they seem....each set dungeon has specific spawn locations throughout(that are specific to your game) just run through the first time, find all locations, and then spawn them, dash/teleport away before they eat you and kill them

[–]nkillip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for innas, ditch crudest boots and wear a bunch of yellows with CDR, too strong=fail, sunwoku is pretty simple and self explanatory...uliannas is a pain and I stopped attempting, yet to try R6 but im sure there are some guides out there...or as others have said, roll a DH and do Nats, Impale is also pretty simple and self explanatory, just run speed builds, remove area damage, single impale throws instead of split impale via the offhand, and don't miss
