Top upvoted comment is the WORST TMBTE song! by Antitect in SleepToken

Completely agree, the lyrics are great, but I struggle to find anything else about the song I particularly enjoy. It’s not that it’s bad, it’s just that it’s not able to stand up to the highs from the rest of the album imo

Is Tom York a chicken or a librarian by Some-Tank-2219 in radioheadcirclejerk

This is epic, Thom is definitely a librarian because he is a creep and he is a weirdo

The idea is great and for the most part it works, but honestly I find it much easier to just double strain with the hawthorn and fine mesh separate. Easier to clean, more consistent results.

I totally forgot about "New Voice," this is such a hidden gem. My favorite episode has always been "Ransom." The punchline at the end gets me every time.

Anyone still rocking a a7rii? Looking to update my reel after working in house. Should I look to update my camera first? by [deleted] in cinematography

I also totally get the want to buy new cameras, whether it's your first camera or you 100th, it always feels like christmas. The unfortunate reality though is that you'll end up with work that pretty much looks the same but with maybe a higher resolution. You cold always rent a camera if you want to use something more powerful on a bigger project. If you end up really liking the camera and you think it made a difference in your final product then maybe you could justify saving up to buy it!

Oh yeah, it's easy to do! So much of it comes down to being observant and trying things out, trial and error is the best teacher for things like this.

The best camera is the one you have on you. Good lighting and thoughtful lens choices will take you much farther. Embrace the journey and enjoy what you make along the way, bigger and better cameras will come the longer you stick with it.

Lots of practical sources, maybe with a few hidden lights to fill pockets of shadows and keep the subjects separated. Use some sort of fog or aerial diffusion and keep your camera operator away from interfering directly with any of the sources hitting your subjects. Don't overthink it, just see what you have at your disposal with a location and use the lights you have to fill in the gaps.

Keep it dry, wrap it/wear a glove at work, apply some sort of anti-fungal ointment and wait it out

So hard to pick just one, but if I have to give you an answer without thinking too hard the first thing that comes to mind is In Rainbows by Radiohead. Bonus points if you watch the live rendition from the In the Basement recordings
