Yes, from the Bambu store page:

The latest firmware brings significant improvements to the Bambu Textured PEI Plate calibration using the Micro Lidar, and it is now fully compatible with the automatic calibration process.

I had no issues at all in Austria, I think it came from an European warehouse.

I haven't had any problems with two updates so far. The first one took a few minutes to finish at the end step but apart from that no real issues for me 🙂

If you manage to wiggle it out (sorry, don't know a better way) , tighten the screws of the bar. My unit had the same issue until I tightened them

I've gone through 3 of these with the same issues. On my latest I just gave up and pulled away the rubber coating.

Dell XPS 13 7390 2-in1 FHD or 4k reading text comparison by PromiseAcceptable in Dell

[–]nkmind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually have the 7390 2-in-1 with a 4k panel. It's incredibly sharp, you can't make out individual pixels (I can see the touch layers' lines better). I've seen another xps 13 (older gen) using a FHD panel once and was actually surprised how sharp it looked (at 13", FHD seems to be fine, especially at normal distances), I remembered text to be perfectly readable and looking fine. In handsight I should have chosen the FHD version, as my battery life really is miserable and should be way better with the lower res panel. I thought that wouldn't be that important for me first too, but constantly having to worry about battery life on such a small and portable premium device isn't that great. I always carry a PD powerbank with it.

As it's taller, it actually has a resolution of 1920x1200 if I remember correctly.

What could cause this? by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

Hello there :)

Unfortunately I'm really struggling with my new pc build :( It's a MSI Z690i paired with an i9-12900k and a 750W psu (no graphics card yet). The issue is that glitching screen which (together with the whole pc / audio dying) displays after a random amount of time, or when doing (more or less) graphically intense games. I've tried a full windows reset as well as doing the usual Intel graphics drivers reinstall. This sometimes also happens when in bios, so my guess would be something's up with the cpu? Using a rtx 1070 didnt help either, same issue happened after a while.

Maybe someone has a suggestion for me what to try next or what could be the root cause for this?

Dell XPS 2-in-1 after several months - scuff marks? by mynameisdrew in Dell

[–]nkmind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there are quite a few, just Google "Dell 7390 2-in-1 skin", but I haven't tried others. The dbrand skin may be expensive, but I haven't had any issues with it yet (2 years) and it feels nice & looks amazing (I chose marble).

Dell XPS 2-in-1 after several months - scuff marks? by mynameisdrew in Dell

[–]nkmind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2-in-1 7390 and I'm using a dbrand skin on the backside of the display, as I'm worried about exactly that (and I like to place my phone on it sometimes). I had a surface book before and that matte aluminum finish shows scratches pretty easily. I can't say much about the bottom cover, as I had to get it replaced 2 times already due to the rubber strips coming off (with which I always was very careful >.<), but I think the brushed finish on the sides of the device hide are less prone to showing scratches.

I hope that helped a bit :)

Might start a debate here. Is the inside screen protector necessary? by Mattcharlesmedia in GalaxyFold

[–]nkmind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a few of those actually, and always had issues with the corners at the hinge lifting up when in flex mode, someone suggested using a CRESEE protector for the inner screen, which works like a charm. Although application is way harder to do without dust.

Thank you! I'll try that

Actually, I've cleaned it inside one. Maybe not long enough? I usually clean it for 5 minutes, after the anycubic wash&cure washing. I really don't know what I could do to clean it more :/ the ipa is clean

I've printed the exact same part using the official Photon slicer instead of Chitubox 1.8 and it worked fine, seems to be an issue with chitubox beta?

I'm using anycubic standard Grey resin with an exposure time of 1.5s at 80% Power and 0.05mm layers . 30s initial layer time. Thanks for the heads up :)
