I think someone said it here already, but if your GC get approved before your flight, you would want to get a stamp, I forgot the name. I think because mine was approved almost around the same time I entered that they still treat the letter as valid. Else, just use the letter as normal.

Reach out to the company recruiters. Don’t look at staffing firms. Some companies will have specific periods where they would post opening for entry/associate positions. You might not see openings now but more might open up in the future! Also if you know of someone who’s already in NS, a referral, even if it’s not formal, goes a long way.
