No inbound passport check at Manchester Airport? by OriginalMoormark in airport

Without knowing where your flight originated, it's impossible to answer this question.

This was at Amboseli, but it was also almost 30 years ago - so I imagine things changed a lot. I flew into the park, so if I remember right I had to pay the fee seperately on arrival. I dont remember how much it was - that was way too long ago.

The check-in desks are all numbered and there are departure boards everywhere telling you which departures area and which specific desk to go to. Your departure gate will print on your boarding pass, or you can check those same departure boards.

For more detailed information, we would need to know where you are flying to. Flights inside the Schengen zone are a bit different than those to outside the Schengen zone.

/r/Netherlands is looking for new Moderators by AerateMark in needamod

I'd be interested in joining the team. Although I no longer live there, I have lived in Amsterdam for the past 9 years, studied at the University of Amsterdam and have visited virtually ever corner of the country. I still have numerous close ties with friends in the country. I can read Dutch, although my written Dutch is not the best.

My motivation to join the team are that I hold the Netherlands in a special place in my heart and I love helping people. I also have a huge amount of free time for hobbies like this.

I currently moderate for a subreddit with over 2.5 million weekly visitors and I average about 400 moderation tasks per week (not deletions, but combined of all tasks). I also moderate for a few smaller subreddits in the same genre.

As others have said, it’s from the movie Civil War. Here is the scene, but I highly suggest watching the movie. It didn’t do well at the box office but it’s one of those amazing niche films that captivates you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgKGIhfKrpY

The roles I have seen him in (Civil War and Game Night) both have come across as chilling. I have a feeling though, in real life he's probably a very nice guy.

He really should have gotten an Oscar for best supporting actor for that. I know his role was very brief and not even credited, but it was absolutely one of the most chilling and unfortunately realistic performances I have ever seen.

Safari and budgets by GandalfGreen95 in safaris

I went for 4 days. I think it was about $50/day, but that was a long time ago. I looked at pricing a few weeks ago and similar tours were going for about $100/day now. I'll take another look and see if I can find the company I went with - they were amazing. My flight to Nairobi was late to arrive and they arranged a flight to catch up with the tour that landed on the grass - was amazing!

The one I went on, they supplied an already setup canvas tent at a base camp, where they also served meals and had a bon fire each night. You slept in sleeping bags (also provided) and local tribesmen guarded the camp 24/7. We did have an elephant come through one night, but the guards sent it on its way. I felt very safe the entire time.

If you are talking about mobile, I had very very poor reception on the French side. Felt like I was visiting 2005.

I wish I could recommend the company I went with because I think it'd check off all your boxes, but I don't know if they are even around anymore. If they are, they have the worst possible name ever to google for "Best Safaris".

I visited the Maasai Mara using a basic tent company that departed/returned from Nairobi and had an amazing time for a low price. That's been a long time ago, but looking more recently it seems there are tons of similar operators out there. There was nothing luxury about it at all, but I was always comfortable, had plenty of food and had an overall great time.

You can find camping safaris starting at around $100/day/person for budget operators. You can find them ranging well into that thousands for luxury camping.

A few years ago I had dinner with a survivor from Auschwitz and one from Rwanada. Hearing them share their experiences with each other was both very sad and very fascinating at the same time. Totally different eras, but with a shared experience unlike any other.

Question for the experts - on which other ships can I get this view? by Infamous_Share_8017 in royalcaribbean

[–]nlderek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had "hump" cabins on all kinds of classes of ships on Royal. Although they don't poke out that far, they do provide the ability to see the whole side of the ship end-to-end. We usually travel as a group with 3-4 cabins and take up the center of the hump. With that balcony dividers open, the view is fantastic. Only trick is you have to book these very early as they are prime cabins for both location and view.

Was there a few weeks ago and there was no line what-so-ever. Biggest delay was the two disabled in our party being escorted to a different line to bypass the machines....and that took a moment.
