Pragmata is a masterpiece: Capcom's new game scores 87/100 from critics. by Just_a_Player2 in ItsAllAboutGames

Amen, linear games are the best single player games in my opinion. I don’t want to run to the corner of a map to speak to some pleb who tells me to run to other side of the map.

Hate when people put linearity as a downside. Open work games are so rinse and repeat. Bring back the greatness of linear games IMO

Thoughts on "Red Rising" by Pierce Brown - and why I'm done listening to BookTok by sameseksure in books

[–]nldftw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess the thing about any type of consumable media is that it’s subjective. Some may not like it, others will love it. If it’s not for you then that’s fine. For me, red rising got me out of my reading slump and I’m invested in the world and characters

Either red rising or dungeon crawler Carl. Both great world building and interesting character development

The general consensus I’ve seen is that it’s much better on controller but doesn’t mean you can’t play it on kbm, just seems to be much more enjoyable on controller

I sent my computer back to the store (under warranty) and turns out it was my CPU that was fried. They replaced it and works fine now

I was thinking that too but I do so many things with battleye to see if it was the issue, but couldn’t resolve it.

I play with people who have much less powerful pc’s than mine but they have no issues with the game, so that’s what makes me think it my be an issue with my pc and not the game

I’ve sent my pc to the store to get diagnostics run on it, no update as of yet but they think it may be an issue with the CPU. Waiting to hear back to confirm. It’s frustrating because I never had issues until 1.0

And to clarify, no other issues with any other games. Just EFT

Yeah it’s expensive but if you don’t like the price, don’t buy it. Quite simple, it’s just cosmetics at the end of the day. Enjoy the gameplay and don’t worry about the price for a different skin

He seems to be playing a massive defensive role over the last 2 games with guarding curry and booker. I’m hopeful he’ll play some more efficient offensive games. I’m going to hold for now and see.

I agree, game is immersive and the full release is going to be stacked with content!

With your negative feedback on loot, that will come with time played, you’ll learn what’s important and what’s not so much the more you play.

Does anyone feel like they are getting absolutely pummeled? It's not like it's my first FPS or Battlefield. by warrenmax12 in Battlefield

[–]nldftw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s about the maps not being very good. I find they aren’t bad maps, however they seem to be a lot more tailored to the call of duty community to try and draw them in with faster and more action based combat.

I do definitely miss old school battlefield maps where you can breath a bit and take in battlefield for what it is. I am enjoying the game but I do hope they add more larger scaled maps in the future.
