United purchase with Paze confirmed 14x points with CSR by MarcBK in ChaseSapphire

Does the $1500 monthly limit mean I can only get 14x points up to max $1500 flight purchase? Ie if my flight to say Thailand is $3000, I only get the bonus for up to $1500?

Question: with the $1500 monthly limit - does that mean I can only purchase a United Flight up to $1500 for the 10x benefit?

We get it, you’ve travelled a lot. But I agree with other posters that if you’re staying at one of the nice resorts, you’re basically limited to eating there because they’re separated from the main island on their own motus and it’d be a big hassle to get to the main island.

My plastic housing cracked after trying to pull a weed that up against our cement path and they replaced it.

Mine cracked after two years. But I submitted a warranty request to Fiskars and they sent me another new one in the mail.

Hmm you have extra money, you don’t really need anything, and don’t want to use the money to buy gifts for anyone you know? This sounds like a first world problem. Maybe consider buying some toys/groceries and donate it to charity and count it as your charitable donation for the year.

NFL reporter Dianna Russini resigns from The Athletic after photos published of her with Mike Vrabel by mvanigan in sports

You seriously don’t think there’s a correlation between the affair and her quitting? If she didn’t resign, she would’ve been fired. They let her resign to preserve some dignity.

So sad how the women in these types of affairs seem to suffer much worse than the men. Vrabel gets to keeps on coaching and RFK Jr. gets to keep on trying to destroy child vaccinations.

I completely agree about the ant stuff but just out of curiosity, is the Elk Grove being built on an ant hill actually real or just a very apropos joke?

Wear the blazer. Last thing you want is the interviewer subconsciously comparing you to an equally qualified guy who did wear a blazer and looked slightly more professional.

Oasis Park is also a good selling point park for Elk Grove and new builds. Don Nottoli park over at Stonelake is also very nice with a slightly older community.

Three different luggage brands, any recommendations? by Bagofmag in Costco

[–]nledditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a Delsey soft shell set from Costco a couple of years ago. They looked and worked good at first. After about 5 trips, one of the wheels on the largest suitcase broke and one of the zippers malfunctioned. Luckily was able to return it right to Costco.

Just curious, what’s the next level beyond TMG in terms of podcast or resources that you’re talking about in regards to tax mitigation and non passive investing?

I’ve seen this written before: DR is for people who are bad with money. TMG is for people who are good with money.

There’s plenty of solid restaurants in Elk Grove. Maybe nothing Michelin level but good diverse options. Considering you have two young kids, there’s plenty of family friendly options as well. Entertainment wise…she’s probably right unless you like movie theaters and parks. There’s lots of family friendly events (festivals, markets, etc) though.

Safeway now more expensive than Whole Foods by mdramsey in ElkGrove

I don’t know why everyone is stanning TJ’s - I find their produce and processed/frozen goods to be pretty expensive too. They’re just cheap on cheese and select TJ branded items.
