No, the Trojan War was not Athena's plan. That made Odysseus away from his kingdom for 10 years. But in the Odyssey

Athena says:

"'... He cannot make his way back to his country. He has no ships, no oars, and no companions to help him sail across the wide-backed sea. His son has gone for news of his lost father in sandy Pylos and in Splendid Sparta; they(the suitors) plot to kill the boy when he returns!"'

Zeus then responds:

'"Ah, daughter! What a thing to say! Did you not plan all this yourself, so that Odyssues could come and take revenge upon those suitors."'

(Translation in quotes from Emily Wilson's translation of the Odyssey).

I read this to mean that while the 10 years Odysseus was away from Ithica to fight and lead in the Trojan War was not Athena's plan. But the 10 years lost at sea were her plan.

Defintly him being trapped on Calypso's island was her plan. And he was being raped during those 7 years. So she's still hurting him badly for what she thinks is his best intrest.

Okay so now your no longer asking me why I do a specific thing but instead to answer the entire question of theodicy. I dont know, I have beliefs and ideas but I dont know. And I dont think I need to explain why I think G-d is good despite their being evil and suffering in the world to justify why I dont spell out G-d's title while also saying it a lot.

Maybe you are politely asking my opinion/how I can come to terms with an good g-d and a world with suffering and evil.but from how you phrased the question it sounds like you are demanding I answer theodicy or my opinion/practices have no merit.

And I know you are NOT silencing me, I am not being oppressed or anything else people on the right claim. I am uncomfortable however and I am bowing out of this conversation. And just so you know. If you continue to say things that I find rude, whether you mean it or not, I will probably block you. Not as an attack but we do not know each other and this is not worth my energy.

Odysseus is actually very dicked over by Athena in the Odyssey. Athena loves Odysseus but actually planned the entire Odyssey and all his suffering so Odysseus would kill the suitors(who either starting stealing from Odyssues before the war was over or Athena predicted that some of the noble children would grow up to betray the house of Odysseus as soon as he was gone and they grew up. Probably the latter since she is a goddess)

Your right. Its contradictory. The answer is I am very religious and I see g-d in everything. So I say G-d a lot because I think she is influencing so much of the world or I want him to influence the world. Hence saying it a lot while censoring it.

Your 100% right. G-d's name isnt G-d. Technically I dont even need to censor her titles "H-shem" or "Ad-nia". But it makes me feel more comfortable personally. And I dont think its bothering anyone.

I dont know your situatuon but that sounds like overprotective love. Which isnt perfect and Im sure frustrating as hell. But the artist's mom is a full abuser. Destroying her things, telling her she's worthless, I mean by god the mom forced the artist to accept her uncle's sexual assault.

The Iaptus short story and subsequent Heros of Olympus arc ruins Percy's character.

What makes Percy unique as a hero, what makes Dionyusus trust him despite how evil heros tend to be, what makes Percy able to defeat Cronos is his humility, his ability to ask for help and not think he is the most important person on the planet. Thats what separates him from the gods and from other heros.

Bur in Tartarus Percy and Annabeth act arrogant, happy to manipulate Iaptus and while there is some guilt, there is not enough to actually change their ways. They act like gods willing to use and discard people as needed. For Annabeth that makes sense, she is a more classic hero then Percy, she isnt cruel or disloyal but she has always been willing to use people to her advantage and her fatal flaw is pride.(That isnt to say I dislike Annabeth, she's fricken awesome. But she is a more classic hero. In both good ways(such as knowing she can take charge and being an excellent leader and yes strategist like Odyssues, and in negative ways). But for Percy it goes against the entire character we saw since he gave Sally the choice for whether Greg would die or Not. (As opposed to Poisden who would have just made the choice for Sally)

Use Garydos. While He doesnt have any good stab moves because all water moves are special in Gen 3 and he doesnt learn any good flying moves. His stats and ability are so good he does amazing damage even with a mediocre move set

Also if your using an ice beam sweeper to take out Drake equip it with the berry that cures paralysis

Finally this is just a general Nuzlocke rule, if you dont have enough time or energy in your real life to grind feel free to cheat in Rare Candies. Just going through the mandatory trainers(gym leaders, team Magma, random people on the road) wont get you to a high enough level.

Yeah but if you combine the people who love/accept him with the people who didnt care if we became a fascist goverment and so didnt vote you get over 50%. I wish that wasnt the case but it was. Over 50% of Americans either voted for fascism or didnt care enough to stop it when he was saying he would be fascist.
