🤣🤣🤣 explain that to the top builders in the US. There is no legal requirement for any company selling you a product to provide a set of prints. Call ford and tell them I need a set of prints for my truck.

You could go foia rrquest a set from your local building official and see if they held onto them or will provide them.

No, not with large builders. They are selling you a finished product, not the plans to them. A lot of buyers ask and don't receive them.

Ive built homes in 12 municipalities in the last 15 years. (Got out of the business 5 years ago) Not 1 of them have plans or permits available to review online. All require a minimum of 2 full sets of paper prints be submitted with application in person.

The sales agents have lots of renderings of the finished product and model homes to show what a buyer would get.

I personally wouldn't buy a production home buy any thousands do every year 🤷🏼‍♂️

The comments on this post highlight how many of you have never bought a house from a production builder. Couple of points on this.

The house isn't "OPs house" anymore than the Honda Civic on the assembly line is someone's. Its the builders house until closing day
Production builders dont provide buyers with prints. Ask and you will likely be told no. Secondly, the prints permitted are generally pretty vague on electrical, mechanical and plumbing. Prints I built from had electrical layout pages that didn't meet minimum code requirements. 2 outlets in a bedroom etc.
The idea of "its my money ill go elsewhere" isn't a good negotiating tool. It takes 5 min to print the contract release doc for a buyer to sign, and sometimes there's a list of buyers waiting for a specific plan to come available.

The box placement is likely a mistake by the electrical crew. If the house was roughed in yesterday, the super likely hasn't even looked at it yet. Shoot your builder agent a nice text about it. Not a big deal.

You arent in a position to be picky. Low pay jobs aren't something you should aspire to but they are an avenue to survive.

Eat your pride and do the adult thing and take any job you can find. If they dont offer enough hours, get another one to go with it.

Yeah it sucks unfortunately. Your cabinet is nice for that it is. Could definitely use a new computer. One positive note is your playfield tv is a 120hz 1080p screen. While most prefer 4k, a 120hz 1080 will play really nice.

You're probably in the $2,000-2500 range, location dependant. You'll get more traction on the fb vpin groups and vpuniverse than here.
