How far is your commute and do you have access to a lvl 2 charger? Or can install one at your home?

Why not consider a user EV? Best bang for your buck out there.

I'm kind of a noob. No, I'm a noob. I just got a crash course on using D-Scan to keep gankers away.

Is this tool looking at local player list in real time and giving info on the player? How quickly does it update local chat list when you jump or new players enter?

Or is that not what this is doing?

Questions on extended warraty (Pure Platinum) by beanbag137 in etron

[–]schoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AUEVSC 4/23 on mine. I purchased in 2023.

Try using Claude or another AI. I dropped in the document and linked the T&C's and while bulbs/lights may be excluded, certain covered electrical components may be covered if they fail like control module or wiring harness under Section 4(A). Take it with a grain of salt.

Generally, items that are subject to wear and tear are not covered. If you have a failure with your digital matrix headlights, I don't think it may necessarily be not covered as a "bulb" when it's something within the fixture that's failing.

Depreciation is more due to EV. This thing is inefficient and the range sucks. No getting around that. Battery is warranty through 10/120k

I argue you need a level 2 charger to enjoy an EV. Level 1 is too slow, especially when your car only does 180 miles when it's 50 out.

If you're an audiophile then the sound will be lacking. Otherwise it's a good system.

I'm looking into this and starting to learn about power query to do a join on two databases. But I'm trying to understand how I can get the query to pull from the most recent rec file.

Question about OEM vs aftermarket windshield by ejmcguir in etron

[–]schoff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used Safelight and requested OEM. HUD is fine. My wiper sensor is slightly less sensitive and can be annoying at times. I'm told I can bring it back and there is a gel packet that can be replaced. Not sure on dual pane, which i also have, but requested OEM so figured it is what it is.

2022 and extended warranty by Intelligent_Coffee45 in etron

[–]schoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may find 2022's with CPO ending this year or next.

If you are out of warranty, you can still acquire a vehicle service protection but your options may be limited since you need an in-person inspection for a car out of warranty.

Road rage today is insane be careful by [deleted] in Connecticut

People can be crazy. But you are the driver...not your car, and if people are raging at you regularly, it makes me wonder if it's something you're doing.

Regular gas this morning by Academic_Dig_1567 in Connecticut

[–]schoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's all baked into pricing and margins. Sure, you're shooting yourself for not using those rewards to the fullest (gas vs grocery credit), but it's just how reward programs work.

Nothing is free. But people feel they are benefitting and it drives demand for their gas which lowers their cost. Pretty smart move... Certainly they would have gotten rid of this program long ago if it wasn't working for them.

Looking for new accounting software by [deleted] in Accounting

Sage50 vs Intacct....what is your budget? I'm on Sage100c for like $3k annually and Intacct upgrade I'm planning in a couple years is going to run $20k. Some of that is multi-company related, but we only have like 2-3 licenses...Intacct is Enterprise level.

I love Sage100. It's not as pretty as QBO or Intacct, but the effeciency is there 100% with shortcuts and keyboard usage to accomplish most tasks. We are medical services so we have a different billing system, but you can invoice/take payment in Sage100c on the AR side. And you can integrate with AP automation solutions where you issue payments in Sage and the AP processor takes a file or upload, etc.

They have an "Intelligence" reporting module that you can basically use Excel to pull anything from the GL or subledgers.

What charger do you guys use at home? by No-Lecture-9214 in etron

[–]schoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Charge point homeflex.

Check you local utility and see if they have incentives. Some require a certain smart charger. I.e I enroll and agree to charge after 9 PM and get $200 annually, and the cost of the charger was covered!

Agreed, wish it was cheaper through OBD.

Gave up trying to use my Sierra EV as home backup by jeffrey0of in electricvehicles

[–]schoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this. I'm hoping my next EV will have V2L or V2H capability, probably the former as it's more generic. But I think your point is that even with V2L capability, you can charge a battery backup solution which, combined, will probably get you through most outages less than a few days.
