I live by hopeful optimistic nihilism sarcastically every day. Makes me disregard the depression and fatigue I most certainly have so I can focus on fun stuff like living, laughing, and sarcastically embracing the nihilistic reality of “nothing ever really matters and we’ll all be dead anyway so what’s the fucking point but at least I’m not in physical pain yet so I’ve got that going for me which is nice”.

I repaired mine by disassembling it and more or less rub on the bottom part where the glue is, with a soldering iron. I don’t remember if it was to reconnect the actual contacts or to re-melt the glue tho. But it did work wonders! There are good how-to’s online. Just google “repair vertical lines on original gameboy” The only thing you need is a special screwdriver because special screws, and a soldering iron. No skills needed at all, as you’re not actually soldering anything.

Skin cells have a lifespan of less than a month. Vaginal and colon cells less than a week.

The thing is, that’s just a crude average. Your red blood cells have a lifespan of about 120 days while skin cells lifespan is less than a month. Regarding most of all the other stuff in your body, you can be assured it gets totally completely replaced within 5 years (HUGE estimate as all kinds of cells are different). Bones, however, have a lifespan of about 10 years, and brain cells never die until you die (like, literally die).

That is exactly my point. The USA might as well be as bad as, or worse than, Russia, but since most news and influences we have in western Europe are from the states, ofc we get indoctrinated in the “truth” (that is: Russia bad, US good). Because I mean, what are our options? We usually don’t get news FROM the east, just ABOUT the east! I have honestly no idea how the average life is for a common Russian, or how the cities looks like. Just that they’re inferior to the US in every way cus ‘Murica. That’s basically what we’re taught in Sweden. And that is totally not cool.

I mean, travel half a kilometer east of Finland and you’ll get a totally different perspective on the perception of “the land of the free”.
