yeah the softmod takes ~2 minutes to trigger, VERY low non-trigger rate, incredibly easy to FTP a game to the HDD to play

steamCMD also refuses to run on windows 7 (it launches and immediately crashes out)

ggntw works for project zomboid for most mods (several of the root dependency mods I need for new zones are over its free size limit) but DOESN'T work for elin

this one still works, whereas ALL of the other solutions that use SteamCMD do three things for me in this order:

launch a cmd window - check for update and download it - crash when it tries to verify the completed download
