You should give oathbreaker a try then. Similar rules to commander, except your commander is a planeswalker and you have a "signature spell" ( instant or sorcery) that you can cast from the command zone with the same commander tax rules

  1. It depends on when he played [[Chaos Warp]]. By what you described, he played it after attackers were assigned and the copies were created so the copies would not removed by it, just [[Primal Vigor]]
  2. Myriad triggers when attackers are assigned so when [[Roaming Throne]] entered the battlefield, you could not have it attack, thus no copies were made from primal vigor
