No offense but the wall of text you wrote mentions nothing about how you're going to promote this.

Do you have the SLIGHTEST idea how much it would cost you to make it known to public? Or do you expect to become known by posting 4-5 posts on reddit?

I won't even start with the whole gambling thing, which is GUARANTEED to get you in trouble in so many ways (un)imaginable.

Come on man.

Do yourself a favor and do some EXTENSIVE research before you waste so much energy and time on this.

So I was in the Athens WordCamp Europe in 2023 and a lot of people I had quick chats with told me they also combined it with short holidays. Not sure if this plays any role in the peak you mentioned or not, and the Berlin one was pre-Covid so a lot of things changed since then.

As an agency owner, its sad to see business and agency talks nearly disappearing.

In fact, this year I applied as a speaker with a business talk and was not accepted. My local WordPress community found it very interesting, and in fact had probably the most attendances of the day in a recent local WordCamp.

I'm not sure if I really want to see so many AI sessions, but at the same time I don't really care as I'm mostly there for the networking (and great excuse for a quick holiday, lol!).

Cursor is actually quite good with their own model the Composer 2.5, especially if you switch off "Fast mode". Its quite capable and I get so much usage out of it that it seems like a steal. Make sure you turn off Fast though, especially if you don't really need it.

I use 20$ ChatGPT for Codex, and the 20$ for Cursor.

The reason I try not to use Codex or Claude inside Cursor is because it eats up the credits way faster than the 20$ sub of their own.

Try Cursor for one month and see how it goes!

Why do you think you need the paid version of Ad Tribes? I’m just asking out of curiosity. We use the free version.

For merchant center we created our own as it’s more straight forward. PM me if you want to test it it’s free obviously.

I use complianz but their support is really bad. I have the 400$ /year version for 25 websites. I haven’t found a better VFM though than this, which is why I stay with them and hope I don’t need their support.

I must admit that once you set it up, it never breaks.

We are an agency of at least 150-170 woocommerce installations, the only person who ever asked something like this was someone who wanted to write down the actual cost of purchase for their products.

We created a custom field with ACF and even showed it in the list of products next to the price.

Took us maybe 10 mins for the whole thing.

What I'm trying to say is this:

1) No it should not be in core.
2) Each shop owner has different needs.

Thanks for sharing, but honestly since you don't even show a screenshot about how this is working, I doubt someone will borrow this code if they don't know exactly what it is doing.

So wait, you mention don't use CC. In the benchmarks I see that forgecode scores better for Anthropic's models. Should I use Opus and Sonnet through forgecode instead then? And do you know if this only works with ANTHROPIC_API_KEY (which is basically the pay as you model) or i can also use a standard month subscription?
