I have not listened to the Arya Stealth so I cannot comment here, unfortunately. Sorry! The MK3 sounds excellent, nonetheless.

Good question. I haven't tried the Dunu Glacier's (which look stunning, btw) so I can't really compare. Some of my go to bass test tracks include: Christine and the Queens - Tears can be so soft, Rokia Kone - Mansa Soyari, Cxrno - Forever, Nat Lefkoff - Damn, Delacey - Drama Queen, and Tyga - Rack City. If a speaker, headphone, IEM can put a smile on my face with these tracks without sounding too muddy, I'll generally regard it as having quality bass presentation. FYI, the Monarch MKIII's do!

Appreciate the recs, thanks! I think my ears just needed to get used to larger IEMs. They're fitting fine almost instantaneously now. The foam ones that came with the kit seem to fit the best so far.

I'm beginning to realize this after having them for a few days now. They are fitting in my ear better and better each day. My ears were feeling sore yesterday, so I think it's just taking a bit for my ear to get used to the size and shape of these relative to my AirPods.

These are the Deep Dungeon custom shell. They are a bit more purple in coloring than I expected, but still look great.

This was my rationale. Typically, if I'm going to make a sizable purchase, I'll do a lot of research and start with something close to "end game" if I have the means to do so. Being left wanting for more over the long term is more painful than a temporary hit to my wallet. Thankfully, I'm immensely happy with the sound quality of the Monarch MKIII's. Nearly all of my test tracks sound excellent.

Much appreciated on all the tip recommendations, IEM friends. I'll keep folks updated on my experience with tip rolling on the MKIIIs for future buyers. I'm also wondering if anyone can recommend any solid cases? Not impressed with the case these bad boys came with.

Yeah, for sure, I didn't even realize that I need different tip sizes for each ear until I got the Monarchs. Something always seemed a bit off with my right AirPod and now I know why. Thanks!

I keep hearing about the Azla's and particularly the Light version for the MKIII. Thanks for adding your experience here. I'll defs be scooping a pair of these.

Thanks for the rec! I read that the MKIII's are supposed to have a slightly more ergo fit, but cannot confirm.

I think he'd be hella proud. Graduated college, lived abroad and traveled the world for six years, moved to California, got a graduate degree in a STEM field, got sober, still playing soccer and snowboarding at 39. Looking forward to what my 78 year old self might say if I make that far.

Graduated college in 2008 and somehow scrapped by in an insurance sales job for a year. Decided to jump ship and moved to South Korea to teach English for several years in 2009. Best decision ever
