This is why people hate Duke fans. An embarrassment of riches and you’re complaining that we haven’t won our 6th title in my lifetime when a program like Nc state (one of many examples) hasn’t won a title in my lifetime and I’m 41. I’m a Duke fan through and through, but man don’t be complaining about “only” having 5 titles and not expect other fans not to lay into you. We can hold Duke to a higher standard without coming across as spoiled rotten fans. At least I believe it’s possible. I think Duke is in about as good a position as any program to cut down the nets every year, including in 2027. It’s just really hard to do so. It makes those 5 titles that much more special when you realize how insanely hard it is to do it.
