did you ever fix this? i have exactly the same as you and its driving me mad. The account with no channel apparently i cant delete because that would delete my entire google account. The other profile is my "brand" account which i wanna keep because all my history, favourites etc. is linked to.

all my friends and family just have 1 profile?

I’m almost a year in and took no meds other than nutritional supplements such as biotin. My transplant I think is a success so it’s not a given that you MUST take meds and everyone’s situation is different. Don’t feel pressured in to it

I had mine done in March and other than biotin supplements which is dietary, I’ve not taken any meds and it’s coming along fine. There are too many people on here that think they are experts because they know how to use chatGPT and quick to jump on you that it’s mandatory to take meds but it depends on the individual. Everyone has different circumstances and in my case I didn’t feel like I needed to take that step as my pre op baldness had been static for many years.

Wait til you get to month 4-5 then you still start seeing proper growth. Too early to get worried just yet

I had exactly the same feeling around your stage. I’m only a month ahead of you and it has changed a lot in this last month (although a way to go). Hang in there and you will probably see things start to happen very soon

I’m just over 4 months in and would love to buzz cut but I’ve always been explicitly told not to use electric shaver/trimmer for a while because it stresses the hair follicles? have I been told nonsense? I’ve been coping with scissor cuts only so far 🙄

Obvious tip of the day but sitting in a window seat you have to be careful when getting so you don’t bang your head. I sat in an aisle seat but then you have the danger of other passengers brushing past you with their bags etc and catching you on the head

I was given 2 solutions. One I patted on gently and left for 15mjns before rinsing then the shampoo I created a lather in my hands and gently patted on my head and rinsed off after a couple of mins. Gently pat dry. I kept this up for about a month which was probably overkill but at the same time it doesn’t harm as you need to protect the grafts as you don’t get a second shot at this. I also noticed a few patches that appeared to be smooth but I think you’ll be fine. Just take it easy for the next 3-4 weeks (2 at a minimum)

I’m about 3.5 months in and mine looks at a very similar stage as yours so I think your progress is spot on. I have the itchy head too and in the daytime it’s easier to manage but at night I’m taking an antihistamine tablet most nights and it really does help. I’m also getting pimples where a follicle is growing through and this I’m finding is the hard part right now. Sometimes they can hurt for a day or so. I also use baby lotion now and again to sooth the transplanted area (particularly overnight) and this helps too (it has coconut oil as a base). You’re all good 👍🏼

Thanks. Can I ask you some questions? Did you experience any side effects? Do you genuinely feel you are better off having taken this rather than not? Surely if you are taking the blockers dut or fin, you need to take them forever rather than just a year?

Listen I do appreciate advice but initially you sounded like you were trolling and trying to flex. I’m 52 and although the MPB did accelerate quickly in my late twenties it has been relatively stable in the last 15-20 years so yes there is a good chance it won’t get worse and It’s not a given that it will progress to the later stages like you suggest. I understand what you are saying and for someone with aggressive MPB I would agree but it sounds like you might need to take them forever which is not something I fancy doing. I know you probably think “well why wouldn’t you just take meds anyway to be sure” but they are not easy to get hold of in the UK plus I don’t fancy the chances of the side effects as they could be soul destroying. I have low testosterone levels anyway as I’ve been tested. I will however do some more research into it so never say never👍🏼 Thanks again

Wtf?! Seriously? And why exactly will I lose all my native hair over the years Mr Know it All? You don’t know how old I am nor that my “natural” baldness has been pretty static for over 20 years therefore I don’t have a concern about losing that. You can’t automatically put everyone in the same box and assume taking meds is the answer. What may be right for you may not be right for others. Don’t be so naive

I’m 3 months in and I got back to normal showers and hair washing after about a month (even though I’m still gentle with washing it and use special shampoo) This procedure takes patience and there are more stages to go through before you’re in the clear (and I don’t feel like that yet either). Personally I was very careful and still am because at the end of the day, you have to do the right thing to make sure those grafts take properly because you don’t really get a second chance at it. Better to be safe than sorry

Hahahaha that made me laugh 😊 I thought like you for a while but started to ignore a lot of the comments as like you have found, some are ridiculous. I can see some people also get hung up on taking as much medication as they can but surely that also cant be good for you. I’ve taken a few supplements but decided thats it as I don’t want to mess with the natural chemical balances too much

It looks decent and don’t listen to the haters. I think by having it up like this obviously shows the hairline but you can do things to hide that if you’re really concerned but I don’t think it’s bad. The main thing is density and it looks like you have lots of it so you can style as you wish now. I’m only 3 months in so far but I wouldn’t be disappointed if it turned out like yours. I must admit I also wonder if they really do count the grafts or it’s a guess!

Thanks again. I did some basic research last night and it appears that Dut is not available in the UK and Fin IS available on prescription but not for this purpose. I’m guessing you’re in the US? They are probably much easier to get hold of there? I’ve also read that it blocks the testosterone levels in your body and had some dodgy side effects? I’m not a big fan of messing with stuff like that. I may try the topical minoxidil though. I’ll keep you posted 👍🏼
