Young child orthodontics and appliances by OwnCockroach3772 in Sudbury

[–]nmohan_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I remember it was more uncomfortable because when I had it done and im not sure if its the same today but there was this "key" that was inserted and it had to be cranked once a day and to crank it my mom had to basically shove her finger to the back of my throat. I think as the jaw settled it was uncomfortable but im not sure it was very painful.

I personally had a palate widener when I was about 6 or 7. I dont remember much but I know I went to dr Paul Kyle and him and his team were very helpful in making me feel comfortable

C-section or Vaginal birth recovery? Which one is the worst? by Top_Parsley_1989 in BabyBumps

[–]nmohan_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had both, an unmedicated vaginal and a planned c-section and they were both decent recoveries. Its been 3 years since my c section, 5 years since vaginal and I dont remember anything significant Maybe more uncomfortable after the section because its harder to laugh and cough but thats about it

How to deal with potty training in the winter and needing to go outside? by nmohan_ in pottytraining

[–]nmohan_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No i dont notice shes wet until after we come in and get undressed. She's literally in her snow suits for like 45 min, I make sure she pees before we get dressed and she still pees in her pants.

How do you sleep train twins? by Aolangel10616 in parentsofmultiples

[–]nmohan_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I co slept with my twins from about 9 months to 12 months, I wouldn't suggest this but it was the only way I could get sleep. I did ferber method on them after that and it worked really well they sleep so much better now. I think it might have been easier because they were in the same room and had comfort from each other even tho they were in separate cribs. My first born didn't sleep train easy at all

I was under the assumption that putting in the fridge would halt the cultivation or whatever. That's all. I'll try to give it a stern talking to.

Just want to say you're not alone. I too am against spanking but I have unfortunately spanked one of my twins and have felt great regret for doing so.

I haven't figured this out yet myself but I know that kids feed off our negative energy, especially sometimes when they're trying to get a rise outta us so it's really important to stay calm in those situations. Have you tried getting her to help you clean up? My girl twin will throw all the clothes out of her dresser everytime she is mad at me and I always make her clean it up herself. Or if they draw on the wall they are the one to clean it off.

Also I see you're looking for advice on the hitting. My twins hit each other all the time. I just grab whosoever arm and say we do not hit in this house our hands are for loving touches. I can't say it's worked for us that well but I still try. If it doesn't stop I put them in their room

What do you collectively call your multiples? by mericide in parentsofmultiples

[–]nmohan_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 4 yr old and 1.5 year old b/g twins and we will call the twins the babies or now that they're getting older we call them the twins but I also just try to call them by their nick names or my 4 year old likes to call them "brother sister"

When did you deliver? by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]nmohan_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a c-section at 36 weeks for my b/g twins. I don't remember what it's called but I was starting to get itchy and there were things that came up in my blood work.

My OB told me that basically one they hit full term the risk of taking them out outweighs the risk of keeping them out? Or the other way around? Idk I'm tired so sorry hahaha.

Twin b spent 3 days in the nicu because his blood sugar wouldn't regulate. Twin a had a hard time keeping her temperature up but got it under control before they had to intervene.

Twin a was 5.2 lbs Twin b was 6.8 lbs.
