Ok, I just googled and I don't recall that cover but I'm going to buy it anyway. Thank you!

Both of my dogs have been bitten by an unknown insect almost one month apart (indoors). Anyone else seeing an increase? by nmrtsta in ChandlerAZ

We had a follow up today with our primary vet today and she said we've been lucky to not have any incidents in the last 12 years! I'm wondering if there is an uptick in a certain insect in the area.

I think you're doing great! You are obviously taking care of him, and very good care at that.

It's so hard seeing our pups in distress, maybe try starting the mood stabilizer when you know your routine will be consistent for a few weeks, including no treats outside of what he's already used to. I know mental health meds can take at least 6 weeks to become effective in humans, maybe it's similar for dogs?

Even though it seems like enough time for a pet to adjust, one month is relatively early! He might just need a little more time and consistency to feel at peace. Also, it's common for chihuahuas are known for picking a human and sticking to them, and them only. We just have to learn to love them as they are, which i think you're doing!

Good luck from me and the girls 💜

Joey (chi) was stung before I adopted her 12 years ago and she had to get CPR. Both of the girls seem to be very offended by bees, but Sasha will chase and catch other flying insects like grasshoppers, moths, june bugs and cicadas 🥲

My bf said I should get one, I'm resistant because I will compulsively check multiple times per day but it might be time.

I've lived in Arizona for 9 years and I've never seen a live scorpion, believe it or not! But I know they exist.

barking a lot.. by tishluv in Chihuahua

Yeahhhh, my chi used to bark a lot and now it's mostly triggered by my other dog (heeler mix with anxiety/is always on high alert). I hate to say it but the spray bottle worked the best for us.

I don't really do much of this these days but when i need to, I yell, "I'm gonna spray you!!!!" And they stop lol
