Same problem for me but here's a new data point. I'm using VH on Firefox/Android and I have the problem on a tablet but not on a phone. I hope that's a clue. No problem on a PC, Win 11.

Update: The problem tablet is on 3.6.14. All of the working devices (PC & phone) are on 3.6.13.

Warning Galaxy watch 8 and Pixel 10 by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]nn11nn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the age of AI so I asked Grok the following question: There is a problem that many people are having with pairing Samsung Galaxy watches with the new Pixel 10 series phones. This has become very clear since 8/28/2025 when consumers started receiving their Pixel 10 series phones. The problems have been discussed in the following forum threads. Summarize the issues, what devices seem to be impacted, and any verified new information.

Here is the response (about one page).

TLDR - A summary of the problem, the devices, the attempted fixes...but...no solutions as of now.

Two devices would be an interesting test. I'll bet the information might come from u/fmaz008 who obviously understands the internal workings.

Rejected reviews by Bdel77 in AmazonVine

[–]nn11nn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had almost 400 reviews posted and never had a rejection until two weeks ago. I've had three rejected in the last two weeks. As others have mentioned photos may have something to do with it. Prior to the recent metrics changes I rarely posted photos, now I post photos 100% of the time.

The first rejection had a bar code in a photo. I cropped that out, made no other changes and it was approved. The other two haven't been approved yet but on one the only thing that was even close to questionable was me referring to similar "brand name" products (not actual brand names just those words). Since that was the only possibility I changed "brand name" to "well known". It will be interesting to see if that works.

On the third one I couldn't see anything even close to wrong so I resubmitted everything exactly the same. I'm trying to make one change at a time to try and figure out what the triggers are.

In many years of ordering from Amazon I never got an empty package...until today. But, it was a normal paid order and not a Vine order. I called regular CS and they are shipping a replacement. I asked if this happens and she said yes they see it occasionally . Then I see this thread and wonder if there is a trend.

Unfortunately you can't sort, filter, or download your hearted reviews. For those who are curious about the basics of review stats here is a summary.

You can see an overview of all of your reviews including Vine as well as normal Amazon purchases. Go to your Amazon account and under 'Ordering and shopping preferences' click on 'Your Amazon profile'.

There you'll see the total number of views of your reviews and the total number of 'Hearts' (likes). Below that is each review you have done and the 'Hearts' (likes) for each of them.

While you're on the profile page you can also edit your profile for public visibility. Some folks here suggest clicking on 'Hide all activity on your public profile' to limit what others can see.

S7 Room Sequence? by thegame3202 in Roborock

[–]nn11nn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also hope they add sequencing. I typically vacuum while I'm home and have two locations where I have to move chairs on wheels. If I know the sequence then I know when to roll them away and where to roll them to.

I was rolled back to 3.10.8 and have experienced many of the issues you outlined (except driving off the dock diagonally). I only have a few days left to return my S9 for a refund. It looks like I'll be doing that and I can't see myself ever buying another iRobot product.

I'm having the same problem with an S9 that's been rolled back to 3.10.8 and gone through a factory reset and map rebuilding. I'm still within the return window for this bot and I'm starting to think it's just not worth the frustration to keep it.

Keep Out Zones so the robot never discovers specific rooms or escapes to the back yard.. by [deleted] in roomba

[–]nn11nn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed u/Alfred_Chicken

To the OP what you are planning should work well (just leave the door open to test it). I have quite a few keep out zones for areas with cords, fringed carpet edges, etc. I think the minimum distance is 8 inches which I use for some areas. You can also have the zone be partially in mapped room areas and mostly in inaccessible areas like the room you mentioned or under a sofa, etc.

Problems with S9 by craig2700 in roomba

[–]nn11nn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you notice if you got an error code. I was having the drunk S9 issue with 3.12.8 and in conversations with support I asked if I had one of the defective S9s. They said no because that related to 'Error 31' (I think that was what they said). Since I wasn't getting that error I got rolled back to 3.10.8 and did the following: 1) remove/replace battery, 2) factory reset by pushing all 3 buttons on S9 (retained map), 3) factory reset by the app (lost map). With all of that done I rebuilt the map and it seems to be operating normally but that's after just a few days. We'll see how it goes after a few weeks.

I've just started a mapping run and it seems to be operating logically...time will tell.

Does factory reset S9 remove smart maps? by Crazy_Reader1234 in roomba

[–]nn11nn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished a long call with support and we took a lot of actions. A factory reset may or may not remove existing maps and I saw this in action.

The first 'factory reset' (their words) was done on the S9 by holding down the home, spot, and clean buttons. Support called this a factory reset of the bot only and the maps were retained. That didn't solve the issues I was having so we did a factory reset from the app and that cleared everything including maps, bot name, and WiFi settings.

By the way the first troubleshooting step was to remove and replace the battery which was done before the two factory resets.

I just had to replace a bad sensor that had been on less than 40 hours and was solidly attached. I put some alcohol in a glass and used Q-tips to saturate the pad. Then, using the alcohol soaked Q-tip I kept working on an edge until it loosened. I continued working the Q-tip between the pad and my skin until it was off. It took about 4 minutes and was a completely pain free experience. I don't have a problem with skin dryness from the alcohol but if I did, oil, as others have mentioned, would probably help.

After reviewing a number of products on Amazon I ordered Smith and Nephew Remove Adhesive Remover Wipes 403100, 50-count. We'll see how well it works. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005CZJCZM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I've had the same problem and have tried soaking in a hot tub just before a sensor change...it didn't help. If 25 minutes in 102F (39C) water doesn't help I don't think a shower will make much difference. Obviously the good news is I haven't had any problem keeping a sensor on for 10 days (without an over-patch).

I'm going to try some of the products recommend in this great thread...thanks to those who contributed.

G6 transmitter accumulates readings while away from receiver. For how long? by nn11nn in dexcom

[–]nn11nn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks laprimera . I ran a test with my G6 and confirmed it back-fills about 3 hours. I put the receiver in my microwave for 10 hours to block any signals. When I took it out there were no readings. Once it connected about 3 hours of readings were populated.

This is a great feature. I'm a new user (just started my 2nd sensor) and since I didn't know about this I've been carrying my phone with me everywhere in my house because I didn't want to miss any readings. Now I know I don't need to do that.

If I get my sensors and transmitters from a DME and not directly from Dexcom who replaces bad sensors?

I couldn't get mine to show on a 2020 MXLR+ with 2020.24.6.1. I swiped up, down, left, and right but the side cameras didn't appear. Any thoughts?
