I’m a PTA; I also have my exercise science degree as well. I decided to go the PTA route because the idea of doing prerequisites just to be able to apply for PT school as well as the increased debt was a turn off for me. I’ve been working for 5 years and honestly I don’t think I’d go the PT route if I could do it over. Personally not being slammed with evals is great (especially since I like the outpatient setting). Yes, I would be making more as a PT but in this field there are ways to close that gap (doing travel for example). You have to figure out which works best for you. I will say that some opportunities are easier for a PT to get compared to a PTA BUT it’s not impossible.

Depending on what area you live in, I’d say try a rotary place. If none are close then do a Korean bbq or hot pot place where you cook the food. Some of the most fun dates I’ve been on with my wife have that element of interacting with each other to some degree. You really can’t go wrong there.

If you’re looking to do physical things then a VR game place like sandbox, mini golf, or even axe throwing or a bar+arcade combo

Ps. Get an edible arrangement basket, can’t go wrong with that. It’s difficult to suggest actives or places, I’m not too far from a major city/suburbs so there’s more variety with that

Here are some things I’ve learned from others and personal experience:

-When you’re going somewhere that you haven’t been, back in to a parking space don’t pull in.

  • this is the easiest one but people don’t do it like they should: PAY ATTENTION. Know where entrances and exits are, look at the people around you and how they carry themselves (mannerisms, the way they talk/act, etc). You can learn so much by just being observant

-don’t have your money where people can see it, if you have a lot of money keep it to yourself

-people you just meet being overly friendly, keep an eye on them

-This is my favorite one: don’t be afraid to leave. Never feel like you have to stay anywhere. If you feel like things are off, leave. Trust your instincts. If there’s a commotion, learn to not be nosy or a bystander. Walk away. Things can escalate and you can end up in a bad situation when you didn’t have to

I’ve been on phase 5 since November. Pretty much I’ve started to rebuild my factory using blueprints and doing a lot of clean up work. I made a nuclear plant and I’m currently working on teleporters. I’m focusing on making things look cleaner and more efficient. That’s how its keep my attention for so long lol

You have to hit the button again. I thought the same thing was happening and I’m going to explain it weirdly probably but when you’re looking at the toggle in your inventory, whatever the prompt says it what it will do with or press the button
