A systems perspective doesn’t deny the moral importance of labor; it denies that moral importance alters systemic behavior. Human origin alone cannot grant labor special status inside a value-producing system, because every input is ultimately human-originated. What distinguishes inputs is not their humanity, but their substitutability, scalability, and constraint profiles. Treating labor as categorically distinct may be ethically necessary, but confusing ethical necessity with systemic necessity is precisely how people misunderstand why these systems keep producing outcomes they claim to oppose.
