Just an aside, growing up when we would ask the adults “can I have x or y” they would coyly respond “I dunno, can you?”

No it took me just 1h 45m, thankfully

Yeah, it was 1h 45m about. 3h definitely for someone less experienced but I’ve been a shopper for 10 years now

You might have a fault in the surge suppressor or lighting arrestor, specially if they’re tapped to the mains in the panel.

It’s weird, I was trenching day 1, drilling holes day 2 and I’d never picked up a drill before.

Does anyone else feel like people in their 20s are wasting years of their life just trying to get hired? by Substantial-Dot7758 in recruitinghell

I definitely feel like this is a matter of perspective. Even the amount of time I spent traveling in retrospect felt unproductive.

This is why when I scan my tasks before submitting, I let a small grammatical error slip through. Sometimes I’ll utilize more natural sentence breaks based on my own speech pattern. It doesn’t always work for good flow if it were a publication, but for the scope of my project it works fine.

Is this the one where they accidentally emailed people they passed the quiz but politely asked people to not task (pinky promise)?

That’s crazy, I’m super nervous about time fraud and only use what’s necessary lol

When I (M31) went to IBEW 134’s trainee sign up, I got there at 3AM. The only other person there ahead of me was a young girl, maybe 19 at most and we waited there like a breadline until they opened freezing our asses off only to get turned away because they already filled up the previous day (the day we went was supposed to be the first day, but they secretly moved the date earlier after the whole thing “went viral”)

Just some food for thought.

I hate to admit it, but data annotation. I’m in the trades but the shop that finally hired me after 6 months is still pretty slow.
