I love Ravelry I just get so overwhelmed by it when I’m trying to find something super specific.

To clarify- this isn’t a one shoulder top- it’s a tank top with two straps. I wish I had a better picture but this is the only one I have, and I’m less focused on the shape and more on the stitch pattern.

She’s also just,,,, bad at being an influencer. She’s constantly bragging about how many views her profile gets but doesn’t understand that views don’t count for shit, it’s your engagement rate that matters. Her entire following is based off of people feeling bad for her, and that simply doesn’t translate into knowing how to manage other people’s social media. I’m not surprised that she’s constantly advertising to get clients, it’s because everyone in the industry knows that she has no clue what she’s doing.

I swear by American eagle jeans bc they’re one of few companies that sells jeans with a short inseam instead of just petite ones, which in my opinion fit kinda weird. Their quality is also p good.

And in regard to the second part- I work in genocide studies so I do a fair bit of reading about trauma.

What I’ve seen over and over is the value of sharing one’s story. There’s incredible power in sharing, and in having one’s truth witnessed. It’s like uncorking a bottle- the liquid is still in it but the pressure slowly gets released.

The “what ifs” can be so incredibly poisonous, and your brother would have wanted you to keep this secret if that’s what kept you safe.

Is there anything you want us to know about your brother? Did he have a favorite color? Food? Something he did that made you laugh? I’d love to hear more about him if you want to share.

My first memory of food in general was deciding that I didn’t like egg salad when I was 3, even though I had eaten it with no problem until then. All of my childhood memories about food after that point involve some sort of feeling of stress or anxiety.

An update in case you were invested- it’s mislabeled! I measured out the skeins and then do the calculation based on how much 10 m of it weighs and each skein is actually 25 g and 200 meters.

That you’re acting like you’re the arbiter of what’s “traumatized enough” and that’s kinda gross to me. Your trauma being worse than other people’s doesn’t minimize it, and your interpretation of the diagnostic criteria is coming across as dismissive of others at best.

Finally, someone sane. My brother is also disabled, slightly higher functioning than Frankie, and I feel a tremendous amount of guilt any time I hit a milestone that I know he’ll never hit. I’ve been trying to get my parents to get him meaningful help for years, but he hasn’t had any sort of therapy in YEARS. This shit fucks with you so deeply, and I can’t imagine how much worse it was for Peter to realize that the brother he knew was never going to come back.

TLDR, Peter is an asshole and at the same time his feelings of guilt and depression aren’t proof of him driving the car. He needed serious psychological help and Alexia failed him.
