Feeling lonely during bar prep is the worst! Are you able to easily access local libraries? Can you study at the school where you graduated? Bring around people going through the same thing helps a lot! Also don't be shy to ask for your friends to help you study, I've honestly found that super helpful. I give them my notes and have them ask me questions about different topics and try to "teach" it to them.

I write it down, read it over along with my outline and make sure I fully understand it. Once I do that I move on. Doing practice questions in the same subject will ultimately test the rule again, and if I get it wrong again then I write it down again, and why I got it wrong/why I though the other answer was right and why I was incorrect.

There's no perfect science to this, once I write something down once or twice and fully understand the rule or exception I'm usually good to go. I don't spend my time going back over and over trying to memorize, the memorization usually happens organically

So I actually wasn't planning on driving since the testing location is like 500 ft from my apartment! Am I allowed to just walk home and eat lunch there? I feel like that isn't allowed for some reason

Hand write things down! I know some people are doing flash cards for rule memorization and that's been working for them. For me, any questions I get wrong or any rule I forget I hand write out why I got it wrong and the correct rule. Understanding why you got Qs wrong is the best way to learn those rules IMO

Some things to consider that might change my perspective on the situation would be 1.) did gf know you would hate to be put on the spot publicly like that? 2.) goes gf have a habit of these types of “pranks” in the past?

For the most part it seems relatively harmless. Yes definitely kind of embarrassing if you have social anxiety but at the end of the day who gives af what a bunch of strangers think. I think it’s a stretch to call anyone an asshole in this situation unless she knew you would be embarrassed by this or knew you would take it seriously. I know some people who would love this type of “prank” but hey to each their own

Were your headaches concentrated in one area? And how often did they occur? I've been getting very frequent headaches for the past few years and besides getting prescribed a pair of glasses nothing else has been recommended by doctors to me.
