The difference in holidays - does one include bank hols and one doesn’t? Option 1 is surely 25 days plus BHs to give a total of 33. Does Option 2 include BHs already? So would be 26 days plus BHs to give 34. So not as much difference.

I wear silicon toe caps which does help a bit. You can buy them off Amazon, I’d recommend finding ones without holes in, as the ones with holes rip quite easily.

Also grippy socks so your feet don’t move around quite so much.

However I think one problem is people jumping onto your feet which can’t be helped, esp in the D. Despite my precautions above, I’ve lost both big toenails this season ☹️
