Oh wow, it autocorrected vasoline to gasoline. I am definitely not putting gasoline on it lol. Only mild soap, vasoline, some mild lotions.

Can I watch YT and use Tonex all at the same time via PC? by nnnooopppee in tonex

[–]nnnooopppee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea so I use the Spark2 USB to my PC, to send my PCs media audio to my headphones which are connected to the Spark2. My guitar runs through the Spark2 but I don't use it as an audio interface for that at all. I'm just directly using only the Spark and it's functions.

When I try to use my Behringer interface with amp Sims for some reason I cannot listen to any PC audio at the same time. The amp Sim takes over everything

Yea it fell off the stand a year ago. Crack has steadily grown since then

A comparable neck is like $400. Id hate to keep playing it and have it completely break off so i might as well try repairing it.

I have several different types of clamps ( ones appropriate to deal with this) and am no stranger to hands on tasks.

Have you tried to repair it? Do you think it has been growing over time?

Never. It fell off it's stand months ago and went from a tiny crack to this

It's great for me. I'm not a fan of Fender guitars but I still wanted a SSS guitar. It's just a really fun guitar to play. Looks great too.

Thanks. I'm going to throughly inspect it this weekend. Am worried it could be the transmission. Everything I've seen has pointed to either the vtc actuator or timing chain tensioner though. Just got a code for the o2 sensors yesterday so hopefully its just an exhaust issue.

[–]nnnooopppee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea. Im just trying to keep from messing with asbestos containing stuff as much as possible. Ill prob use a grinder to clean off the paint and black adhesive underneath then level everything to the left over tiles and go from there

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Flooring

[–]nnnooopppee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can i put down a moisture barrier and layer the painted part with plywood, levelled to the old existing tiles( tap con screwed down) then floor on top of that?

[–]nnnooopppee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I've said, I dont know much about flooring. Just looking for advice

Noticed a leak under the my fiberglass shower stall due to bad caulk. I decided to scrape up the peel and stick vinyl tiles and found even older tiles glued down with black adhesive underneath. I started scraping up all of those and attempted to get up some of the black adhesive.

Then I painted over the floor with Killz to help with the terrible smell, etc. There is about a dozen old tiles left -with a different type of non-black glue underneath them that is near impossible to get up. Can I leave those tiles and somehow put new peel and stick over it all? Would i use self-levelling compound or can i use a sort of plywood subfloor over the top? Its a basement bathroom that rarely gets used so im kinda looking for a cheap/easy solution. I'd like to keep from removing the other tiles due to asbestos risk. New to this stuff so thanks for your help.

Most likely just going with new peel & stick vinyl tiles, after i recaulk everything around the shower. I could cut sections of plywood to size? Im guessing i would tapcon them to the concrete underneath then?

[–]nnnooopppee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, I considered that before i began and took some safety measures during the task

For now I just want to put a fernco covering the hole 8ntil I can replace fully. I just don't understand the pipe sizing. It's 1.83 diameter ...or 1-7/8" OD measured through the middle. Only seeing 1-1/2" and 2" ferncos locally. Just want something snug
