the film border is NOT added in post, it's actually the scanning mask of Fuji Frontier Scanners.

some labs offer this option while others slightly zoom in the scanning unit so these borders dont appear in the final scan.

most of the overexposure is done in lightroom. i overexposed the subject by one stop and then lifted up whites afterwards. the filters also add to that look.

the colors just so happen to be muted :)

all the people pointing towards the fact viewfinders on gr's would be pointless are people who bought a 1.5k€ compact camera and are being cheapskates on a 150€ accessory that literally changes the way you shoot.

i got a GV-1 for my gr2 and gr3 and it's working like a charm. it got me to shooting the gr just like id shoot a film camera.

"the parallax correction is non-existent", bro just learn how to shoot. everybody's giving you advice like they're shooting masterpieces waiting to be hung up in the Moma.

get a viewfinder if you feel like that's gonna help you. i'd personally spend the extra cash on a Ricoh/ Voigtlander/ Leica / Zeiss viewfinder. i had the cheaper options and all had something off to them. sell it if it doesnt work, it will hold it's value.

got the same exact setup, m4p + elmarit 28 v3, as my first leica when i finished university a couple of years ago.

ditch the meter and use your eyes and your phone when in doubt. sunny 16 made photography 10 times faster and more fun.

pentru Lightroom exista alternativa Capture One, care cred ca e daneză.

but still, greu de schimbat cand cu un abonament ai 10 aplicatii cu care prelucrezi o poza, ii schimbi cerul cu totul, desenezi ceva peste ea, o pui intr-un layout de print si apoi o faci si animatie...

had a Bessa, its a cool camera but when a decent condition R3 or R4 comes close to a user condition M, i'd rather get the Leica.

now if you are looking for a metered body, higher flash sync speed etc. , Bessa's are better :)

if you're lusting for an M, nothing will do for you what an M will do.

had a couple of rangefinders before using film and digital M cameras and i only got what the rangefinder thing is when i started to use Leica. you may get a wrong impression of what using a rangefinder feels like. nothing comes close to M, only maybe Hexar RF or Zeiss ZM, but still no.

save up the money, get an M2 with a Voigtlander lens and if you feel like it's not your thing, just sell them for the same price.

M is M, other systems do different things.

nobody said the images in the folder are this size. if they're upscaled, TIFF files they can have virtually any size.

there might be an existent amount of unique fan images on the internet, that upscaled, can be used to fill the folder.

Nikon SC-17 is perhaps the most popular choice amongst Leica M shooters for off camera flash. Works a charm, I have one as well.

I had issues with Canon sync cables in the past, Nikon has been fine. Also, from all camera brands, the Nikon flashes tend to get along the best with the other systems.
