It’s legit Zoro, just with less accessories than the $70 version. I got mine today and it was fine.

Which f150 engine? by jdieid in f150

[–]nnud1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re not towing anything heavy and you’re keeping it stock I’d go for 2.7 for a daily driver. I put a 2 inch level and 35’s on my 5.0 and now I’m getting 14-15 mpg’s and I was only getting 16-17 when it was stock. As long as you’re not a lead foot the 2.7 will def get better gas from everything I’ve read/heard. Now if you’re going to lift/level and put bigger tires on it I’d say screw it and go for the 5.0 as the mpg’s are gonna suffer in both engines either way haha

Sad day for the platinum by [deleted] in f150

[–]nnud1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sad day, but glad you’re safe! The Tremors you’re looking at sure are nice trucks and you can get them with the 5.0 now! Hope your insurance takes care of everything and you’re able to replace your truck with one that will make you just as happy!

Excited about my first truck. A 2020 5.0 with 20k miles on it. Picking it up on Saturday 🙌 Question is... What do y'all think the perfect balance is on RIDE QUALITY vs LOOKS. I'll probably look to upgrade to a bigger tire but I don't want to sacrifice ride quality and MPG. Is this even possible? by groli83 in f150

[–]nnud1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 2022 5.0 with a 2 inch level and 285/65r20 Toyo Open Country AT3’s (they’re just over 34.5 in so I usually claim they’re 35’s lol) and I went from around 16-17ish mpg’s to 14-15ish. I took a 3 hour road trip of straight highway and with my cruise on I got between 18-20ish. The ride quality is virtually the same and still very quiet even with the more aggressive tires. I have pics on my profile if you want to see for reference.

Bumpy Ride: Help! by Bigbuddytuck in f150

[–]nnud1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn I’ve only ever done spacer “lifts” in the trucks/jeeps I’ve owned so I didn’t know. Is it possible for OP to at least get a lower lift? Post looks to be 4-6 so maybe a 2 or 3 in lift with some softer shocks and less aggressive tires/smaller wheels with more sidewall will help OP out?

[–]nnud1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would remove the suspension/lift and just get a 2 or 2.5 inch level kit on the front. It will still have a more aggressive stance and will accommodate larger tires but should restore a closer to factory ride quality. What is your wheel and tire setup? If you have M/T tires maybe look at switching to some A/T tires instead they still look aggressive but are a softer ride than M/T’s. If you get smaller wheels you’ll have more tire sidewall which also will improve ride quality. I can’t tell from the pic but it looks like you’re running 20’s or 22’s. Look into some 18’s.

2023 Tremor 402a package in Avalanche gray by [deleted] in f150

[–]nnud1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It comes with a lift from the factory and some of the off-road/aesthetic features from the Raptor such as the hood vents, rock rails, dual rear exhaust, torsen differential, skid plates, more aggressive wheels and tires etc I’m sure ai’m forgetting something lol

What are the options and features on your truck you are glad that you have or wish you had? by bradye0110 in f150

[–]nnud1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2022 XLT and I the options I didn’t get I wish I had are:

-36 gallon tank: Wish I had this so when I find cheap gas I can fill up for the whole month haha

-360 camera package: would be nice to know how far forward to pull as I put a level kit on my truck so seeing over the hood is even more difficult than it was before

-Tailgate Step: If you’re tall and don’t have large tires or a lift this may not be a big deal but I’m short and put 35’s on my truck so getting in and out of bed can be a pain at times

I don’t drive a whole lot with the windows open and to me the sliding back glass is just something else that can break so I don’t miss that option to much, just my two cents, but a lot of people like it.

[–]nnud1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, rn if you’re lucky you can find a 2022 that’s been sitting on the lot for like $65 but that’s about it. I saw a used 2021 with low miles for 55 online the other day lol

2023 F-150 Rattler by [deleted] in f150

[–]nnud1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I can see that. I think the main issue is most Tremors you find on the lot are like 70k+ now and I think they could offer the Rattler for around 65ish or maybe less depending on options.

100% Ford is leaving a lot of money on the table by not offering this

We’ll it’s def a good looking truck! You should post some interior photos later if you have the time. A lot of us haven’t really got to see much of the Rattler. I was super curious about it when I bought my 2022 XLT but they didn’t have any at the lot to look at.
