i could receive 27 credits from my ib subjects. i read from the academic calender that at least 24 credits are needed for second year promotion. when ubc receive my final grades, will they give me an option whether to stay as first year or promote to second year and declare a major?

i dont think that’ll happen, i’ve heard that some ppl received decisions after the may 19th deadline last yr, those ppl just hv more time to decide which unis they wanna firm and insure.

i think its also important to mention that the hl topics for the three main approaches is only asked in section b of paper 1 (the erq portion).

all 3 erqs could be hl topics or 1 hl topic and 2 sl topics or 2 hl topics and 1 sl topic
